Food came out in 5 mins which means it wasn't freshly cooked. Chicken had the texture of rubber. Quality definitely went downhill since I was last at an Applebee's. Wouldn't go back.

We had a big group of us stop there for dinner on our way north. Almost everyone said the food was just so-so. The salad bar is unimpressive. I had the Vegetable Stir Fry. It was so drenched in teriyaki sauce that it was inedible. The vegetables were way overcooked and the rice was soaking in sauce. Another person in our group had the Chili Burger. He said the chili was dry and the meat overcooked. Some of the kids had the macaroni and cheese (Kraft's). Other meals also failed to satisfy. For dessert we gave the Bread Pudding a try and nobody liked it. After passing it around the table for tastes, it was left uneaten. Prices are ridiculously expensive for this glorified Shari's / Denny's. The Vegetable Stir Fry was $18.99!Servings are huge (of bad food), but the service was great. Our waitress did an excellent job of keeping our group orders and bills straight. And finally if you like a beer or a glass of wine with your meal, forget it. They don't serve alcohol.

New to the area and have heard great things about the Chehalis Deli from locals. I was happy to finally have some delivered to work the other day! Great sandwiches! Thick, meaty sandwiches, with fresh veggies. The menu offered meatballs, salads, fajitas, nachos, and creative sandwiches/hot dogs.

Kit Carson Restaurant provides Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Sandwiches, Burgers, Steaks, Seafood, Appetizers and Desserts to the Chehalis, Washington area.
Straightforward and tasty food. Popped in on my drive back to the Seattle area from Portland Oregon. Facility is very clean very well laid out and the young woman who was waiting tables was polite professional and very friendly. The food was served quickly hot and fresh. I enjoyed my BLT and fries before using the gentlemanâs and continuing on my journey. Would not hesitate to stop in at this facility again if in the area. Again plenty of parking although there are stairs but have to be negotiated to get up to the front door please keep that in mind.

Went in for breakfast the other day. The food was well cooked and really good. If you are looking for a great breakfast and great service Sweet Inspirations is the place to go. Oh and by the way a few months ago they moved across the street to a new location. They are still on Market Street just on the other side and down a block.Bon ApetitDallas

Nice farm to table ambience. Friendly attentive service. Extremely fresh salad and lovely dressing. Nice gluten free onion rings with great sauce. The French Dip has nice au jus and very fresh bread. Fair prices and a lively lunch stop.

Nice location in old town Chehalis. Cozy old time bar feel except for the lighting. Had one of the best Bratwurst dinners Iâve ever had. Bartender knows his way around a martini too. Made perfect. Only problem is the lighting over the bar. The ambiance is totally ruined with operating-room bright LED bulbs of a color temperature only found in a Dollar store. Seriously spend the $20 or so and make this place cozy.

Unique meats and fish selections from the Pacific Northwest; catering; located in an historic restored hotel. A man cave on site serving beer and wine. Chef Laurel Khan.
I first reviewed Mackinaws back in 2011. After seven years Laurel Kahn and her two sons have proved consistent with their quality and offerings. They keep their menu small, but varied enough to please most everyone. She always has a chicken and pasta dish, a couple of steaks, a fish dish and then something exotic. My spouse loves her curried lamb shanks when she offers them.Recently she has added a mid-week wine tasting and bar food, for $40 a person. It was just lovely the one time I went. It was a Processo tasting from Valdo in Italy. Laurel made this fabulous pasta and chicken dish, then something swimming in a creamy sauce with chicken, sausage and vegetables. A cold shrimp salad with jumbo prawns, hard boiled egg, tomatoes, some other fine chopped vegies and a creamy dressing. Oh, and a little pizza on the side. I can't say enough about her creativity. NOW, coming soon, is a full bar space behind the original restaurant. A different menu than the main dining room, maybe small plates to go with drinks. We are so excited. It's happening early spring of 2018. So glad she is here.

We serve lunches and provide off premise and in-catering off-premise catering. We also have cooking classes. Everything's from scratch. Vegan and vegetarian options.
A little pricey for lunch and only one high chairs but the food was good and the atmosphere friendly with a cute environment.
