They have a great menu of local and American food. We opted for the Okinawan dishes, put the dishes in the center and ate family style, sharing various champurus and a nice seafood salad. This place is just down the hill from the Costa Vista Hotel and about a 10 minute walk from the new Aeon shopping Mall. The dining and bar areas have a nice, cozy feeling. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Great place.

The burgers were not impressive. Highly doubt these burgers were prepared fresh and I believe the chickenburger came from the deepfreeze. The homemade cajun sauce was to little to really have a good taste. Service was OK and drinks also. But knowing from experience how easy it is to make a good butger from scratch and also a good batter for a chickenfilet it is actually just shamefull to serve such dishes. I would not recommend to visit.

Based on the reviews, I was expecting a bit more, but maybe we went on an off night. We were the only people in the restaurant along the Sea Wall at around 6:30 pm and it still took awhile for our 2-piece boneless chicken and waffle with maple sauce. The waffle was very good with the sauce, but the chicken was very greasy. Also, the service was not great. The two ladies behind the front desk just giggled over videos on their phone rather than check on our drinks. Won't be going back.

Didn't order a main meal but ordered a root beer float and curly fries and onion rings. Food was just average could be better.
This is a very trendy cafe with Americana decor, an eclectic owner, and a fantastic atmosphere to enjoy a lunch or dinner date with that special someone. Although curry doesn't seem like a 'date-like' food, I beg to differ with Horizon Curry Works. They offer a very unique menu, and have many options for those looking for an interesting take on traditional Japanese style curry. In particular, I got the ahi tuna katsu curry, which was delicious, and the ahi was cooked just right (still pink in the middle). This coupled with the wonderful unobstructed view of the ocean made it a lunch to remember!

Savor the finest, local Okinawan, Japanese and international cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner in Hilton Okinawa Chatan Resort's Buffet Restaurant. Okinawans are renowned for their longevity and this restaurant is inspired by the Okinawan way of lif
We took some friends to the buffet at this Hilton Hotel Restaurant for a congratulation lunch. Although I was expecting less than the hype I had heard on-line, I was still disappointed. We arrived early to reserve seats but really did not need to. The first thing that struck me as we entered the foyer of the restaurant itself was the strange, unpleasant odor. Thankfully, it was not present in the dining area itself. The second thing I noticed, and brought to the attention of the staff, was the food scattered on the seat cushions and the floor under the table. The hostess dutifully cleaned what she could, but I have to say that when the staff clean up a table after patrons leave, they should, at least, pick up the rice, vegetables, and bones from the floor. Now the real bone I have to pick: for a weekend lunch buffet at ta four-star hotel to have no beef dish is surprising. The full menu for the buffet was slim on substance. There were a lot of what I consider padding, side dishes masquerading as main courses. The majority of dishes featured tofu, pork, or fish. The taste of individual items was bland and unremarkable. The spicy chicken wings were anything but spicy. They were coated with a thick glaze of some sweet, citrus based gunk. The seared bonito (I think it was bonito) salad was tasteless. The Indian fish curry was acceptable. The Thai soup was okay. The deserts were so-so. The coffee tasted like it had been sitting in the carafe for a while.Overall, the buffet was way too expensive for the quality. It was something I would expect at a two or three-star hotel. I would recommend the hotel cut down on the number of fluff dishes and raise the individual quality.

Surprisingly, this establishment run by the US military, is open to the public; no identification cards are required. Delicious Italian or American meals are served at a location along the East China Sea. Staff are friendly and efficient. And, you can sit indoors or, outside with a view of the beach. I recommend this place to all my friends, looking for a taste of America, without having the hassle of going on a base.

From the macaroni and cheese, voodoo rolls, and shrimp étouffée, this place is my favorite spot on island! The owner is funny and welcoming and the staff are great! I eat here at least once a week! The decor and atmosphere are fun, yet family friendly! For those interested in a good time, the bar has a good variety as well! If you live here or are just visiting, stop by, you will not be disappointed

Finding a decent cheeseburger in Okinawa can be challenging if you want a fresh taste and fun atmosphere Gordies is the place to go! Everyone always referred us to the place In Nago but if you’re in the kadena area and don’t want that long drive this is the place to eat! Other than chilies on base haha. They had a good variety of options but the sets were a little pricey but nothing too out of ordinary for off base eating. Fun decor and really nice staff. They made our orders fresh to order.
