The ovens are turned on early. Six o'clock most days. Earlier on Sunday. Within an hour, bread is rising, apples are being sliced. Pecan pies are pulled hot from the oven and left to cool. Ice cream churns in the machine. Cups of coffee steam on the prep
We havenât been here in several months and needed somewhere in Câboro to meet for dinner. Acme was it and still very good service, selection and preparation! Had a bit of a snafo with our reservation but they were able to accommodate us!

I went to the location at Durham (Fayetteville rd), I had a lobster roll for lunch instead of the combo (half soup and half sandwich) that I originally planned to have. The lobster roll cannot be included in this combo as you have to order it full size. It was a good option, it was very tasty and the Apple cole slow was very good as well.

This is our go to eatery in the area. Yesterday I had the "small plate" or fried oysters over spinach and parmesan cream. Probably the largest oysters I've ever seen! Perfectly fried. I didn't count them, but imagine there were a dozen as I had to leave four! The Spinach and parmesan cream with nothing but a smear on the plate as a bit of flavor, but who cared?

This unique restaurant is at the top of the hill in downtown Chapel Hill. Heavily visited by University of North Carolina students. Overall the food is excellent and service is very good. Went there with a a large church group at lunch and everyone regardless of age thoroughly enjoyed their food. Especially good are their chicken dishes regardless of the way you decide to dine - salad, sandwich or entree. However, many people selected endless items from the menu and their was no one who didn't really enjoy their lunch even the coffee. Highly recommend - only problem is parking which can be a problem.

It had been many years since I had visited and not sure why ...the meal was excellent! Pay particularly close attention the the waiters suggestions on the specials. The shrimp was so fresh it tasted like the sea ...wonderful. The grouper special and the sauce in which it was served were top notch too.

Private Baby Shower luncheon for 20 yesterday and very pleased. This room is light, bright, contemporary and inviting. Wyatt, our server went beyond the call of duty to make sure all aspects of our menu, event flow, meal delivery, drinks were on point. A potential last minute menu glitch? Not a problem with Wyatt......he remained calm and thoughtful throughout. Manager Sashank was superb and his staff offered great service.

Part of a chain that accommodated three generations and their preferences. I had so-so prime rib with excellent Bearnaise. The "piece" of carrot cake was too much for 6 of us to split. Covered in caramel; disgustingly sweet ... needed to come with insulin ... Reservations generated TOO many emails (still being pestered to review, etc.). I'd recommend putting more money into higher quality food. For the $$$, they could have done a smaller, far, far, better carrot cake. The SALT was excessive in the au gratin potatoes ... totally unnecessary. In short, really gluttonous people will love this place but for those with a palate, not so much.
Simply put, we are a brewery and restaurant built by neighbors, for neighbors. Located in the heart of Carrboro, NC next to Cat's Cradle, we offer over 10 of our craft beers which we brew on-site as well as a locally focused farm-to-bar food menu.
Stopped in for a couple of drinks before a concert. We didn't try the food, though some of the menu options sounded really good. The beer was very good with a wide variety and selection at standard brewery prices. Will definitely return if ever in the area again.Thank you so much for coming out, we're glad to have you and hope to see you again soon!
