Half Restaurant. Half Store. All Country
Neighbor just returned from hospital needed a good meal. Called Cracker Barrel for spiral ham meal for take out. Within 45 min meal of sliced ham in foil container, awesome mashed potatoes with gravy, luscious green beans and cinnamon apples for two was picked up. Neighbors said fantastic (we did also since we doubled the order and had the same for ourselves).

My wife and I have lived in Syracuse for many years and despite having heard positive things about Borio's ,we have never been there. We corrected that mistake on a recent warm evening and have become huge fans of the restaurant experience. We wanted to dine outdoors and had a wait but many very pleasant options are available. There is an outdoor bar that had attracted an number of customers as well as tables for people to sit and have drinks. There are a number of chairs and an attractive green lawn to spend time as well. But the real show stopper as you wait for your table is the beautiful view of Oneida Lake. It makes the passage of time worthwhile. We'll have to time our next visit to see the sunset. The wait staff is friendly and helpful and our server checked on us a number of times. The menu is large and varied. We chose the fried shrimp option and the baked haddock. Thy offer a small salad bar with some excellent choices. Our meals came in a timely fashion and were hot and flavorful. We enjoyed an unhurried meal with beautiful sights. Borio's provided us with an excellent experience that went far beyond a tasty meal.We will be back soon and often in the future.
We have come here several times, but this time we had an expensive disappointment. Two of us ordered the prime rib, and most of the meat was uneaten. The steak knives barely cut through the excessive gristle. The meat that was edible seemed like it was tenderized. For this, we paid $36. Ouch! The salad bar was decent, especially the broccoli salad. The garlic bread loaves were hot, tasty and fresh. Let's just work on those Prime ribs!

Met a friend here for lunch and we were greeted by our friendly server. We both ordered the Smoked BLT with fries. The sandwich was ample and I took half of it home. Both fries and sandwich were absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend this little diner. They are open for breakfast and lunch.

Casual dining outside seating available with a beautiful view of Oneida Lake, we also have banquet facilities available, weather it's for a wedding reception, rehearsal dinner, company picnic, clam bake, holiday party etc....
Pleasantly surprised by great service and very good food on a beautiful sunny day. I enjoyed a pre made Margarita, both of us enjoyed the beef vegetable soup so much shared a third cup. Extensive menu, only a few healthy entrees, we opts for spinach salad with chicken and a seared tuna salad. Both very fresh greens, great dressing. Mackenzi was charming and took great care of us.

Barado's Cafe has closed for the summer 2017.
Situated in a brick house in Brewerton is a lovely unexpected gem. Upon walking in the cafe takes on an urban chic atmosphere with the black linen tablecloths and cozy atmosphere. Although very small in size , the menu will appeal to a broad spectrum and includes items such as Panini's, crabcakes, salads, as well as daily specials. we started off with a cup of their Squash soup garnished with a few drops of oil and pumpkin seeds. Sweet with a touch of nutmeg. For our entree we opted for the daily special which was a delightful, tender, tasty beef stew served over potato gnocchi with a garnish of blue cheese. Excellent! For dessert I ventured into Carrot cake world. Homemade and fresh. Even though there were raisins in the cake and coconut on the frosting I picked my way around the raisins and thoroughly enjoyed every luscious moist bite of that perfectly delicious. What I recommend this restaurant? Absolutely. Will I return again? Most definitely

When we walked in, we stood at the door for a long time, 3 waitresses were literally 3 feet away and never greeted us. We were finally seated, no smiles, no Hello's.....the waitress couldn't have cared less, and it appeared that none of the staff was smiling or engaging with the guests. The buffalo shrimp and onion rings we're good, but the turky crossaint sandwich was not good and the special of the day, pearch was so bad! It was a ton of breading with a paper thin piece of fish inside. I order pearch frequently, this was garbage. The place got very busy, as if the staff already could not provide good or even adequate service, she never checked back and it took forever to get the check. On the way out I told a couple entering not to go in, I said the food is bad and they are slammed! They left! I won't be back. Too bad, nice view.

Returning to Syracuse from a visit to an apple orchard in Mexico, we pulled off when we saw a small sign for Good Golly's. Glad we did. The service was friendly and accommodating. They have a good menu with many offerings and very reasonable prices.

Even though you can get breakfast anytime we went with the lunch menu. Ordered the meatloaf special with potatoes, veg , bread and drink and the Hamburg that included a side-we selected French fries. Service fast and friendly . Bill was $17.17 with tax, tip excluded. Only suggestion would be- cut back on the salt. People can add more if they like, but if you never use salt like us, we can't remove it from the food.

Every time I visit, I feel like I am on vacation. They have great choice of adult beverages and delicious food. Certain nights they have a band playing. You can drive by car, or pull in marina and dock your boat - we do both. The staff is so friendly. Love this place. We go back over and over. It's a must try!
