Looking for an early breakfast buffet so that we could get back on the road. This fit the bill! The cashier was friendly and told us to sign up for a casino card to receive discounts for the buffet which was well worth doing! Great Service! Our staff will love to hear we got another great review! Thank you for visiting and hope to see you again soon.
Old building, old tavern with famous "Face On the Barroom Floor."
We had eaten at another restaurant, but had enough time for another drink before the opera began. The Teller House is a great place to drink or eat that and captures a lot of the old Colorado style and history of the mining era. The wait staff is very professional keep in tradition of fine dining even in an old mining town.I had a glass of malbec, and my friend Steve had a glass of rose'.If you happen to get a seat near the window, it is also a great place to people-watch before the opera begins.

Passing through Clear Creek County stop for pizza in Idaho Springs at the first Beau Jo's, home of the original Colorado style Mountain Pie. First served in 1973, the Mountain Pie quickly became an iconic offering, creating a style of pizza unique to our

Brewhouse, Pizzeria
We stopped in figuring the smaller casinos might have better chances. We were right -- Won a good little amount. The pizza smell was enticing so we decided to spend some of our winnings on lunch. We weren't disappointed! The pizza is excellent. They brew their own beer, too. Very good beer! Also, by chance, met the owner. She's a delightful lady who has a lot of pride in her casino. Stop in - you'll like it!

Stopped here for breakfast after a drive up Mt. Evans. Really happy we did. The breakfast menu has an amazing selection of things to enjoy. Of particular note are their Benedictâs which come in several creative combinations. The server team was very friendly and obviously enjoyed working there. Prices are very reasonable and portions large and food if highest quality.

I had dinner here over the weekend. The steak and brussel sprouts were very good. Our server was fantastic. I felt like the value for the food ordered was great. My only complaint was the order in which the food came out. This is a big deal to me. I hate when all of the food comes out at the same time. Our seafood appetizer came out first. We ordered, soup, salad, main course and sides - this all came out at once. The waitress apologized and stated it was the kitchen. The meal was still great.Dear Valued Guest,Thanks for sharing a great meal with us recently. We appreciate your feedback on how we can improve the dining experience for future visits. We're glad that you left our establishment with a winning impression and we look forward to inviting you back soon!Kindest Regards,Timberline Grill

There were limited dining options at this casino, so we tried this place. Ambiance is really nice and the server was incredible. But the food was average at best. Pot pie: slices of overcooked chicken mixed with zucchini and half cooked, skin-on potatoes (who the heck makes chicken pot pie with zucchini?!?)...about a teaspoon of gravy....and topped with a huge puff pastry. Chicken parmigiana: Three McD's-like chicken tenders over pasta with sauce...???. Pasta special was okay, but little to no taste. There's nothing else I can say about this place.Hi Parker,We hate seeing mediocre reviews come through. We will take your honest feedback on the dishes you tried and forward to our top chefs to further explore how these items can be modified to increase the quality and flavor.Sincerely,Fireside Kitchen

I was shocked that this place isn't in Trip Advisor yet. It truly is a diamond in the rough!
We stopped in Idaho Springs for an early dinner after spending some time on Mount Evans. The high ratings Trip Advisor reviewers gave this restaurant were well deserved. We ordered at the front counter and were met by a very pleasant & helpful employee who guided us through the nightâs selections. My wife opted for the brisket sandwich and I got the brisket & pulled pork combo. The brisket was probably some of the best Iâve ever had, as it was tender & delicious. The barbecue sauces were great and the fries were nicely seasoned and crispy. The coleslaw was an added bonus, as it was delicious also. If youâre ever in the area of Idaho Springs Colorado youâve got to stop in at Smokin Yardâs BBQ and try the brisket. You wonât Be disappointed

Millieâs Restaurant is located on the second level of the Easy Street Casino. Millieâs offers a breakfast, lunch and dinner complete with a full menu that will be sure to satisfy your appetite!
Before lunching at Millies, we visited the Gold Coin Saloon; which is the primary reason we even entered the casino. We love 1800s architecture, and the saloon is a beautifully preserved historic structure; with original woodwork, cabinetry, backbar, etc. It also has an interesting history; which the bartender was accommodating enough to provide. We then went on to view Millies; and upon seeing its decor, we decided to have lunch there. This ended up being a fortunate choice. Though few of the materials used are actually vintage; the facility strives for a 1800s ambiance. Our server, KC, (though a bit harried), was friendly, accommodating and attentive. The food was an unexpected pleasure. The fried chicken had a tasty crispy crust, and juicy meat within; and, the prime rib was also well prepared and very flavorful. The accompanying asparagus and baked potatoes were quite nice; and both entrees were amply portioned. (There was plenty left for a later snack). We also enjoyed the raspberry ice-tea. Best of all, both entrees were very reasonably priced. If one is looking for a great meal, at an affordable price; this place is a solid option

Nothing from a box, can or microwave. No processed foods or ingredients. Local, grass fed, natural meats. Gourmet burgers, Organic Chicken, Cheese Curds, and Kombucha on tap.
My wife, son and I had great burgers here. Well, my wife did not, because there aren't any veggie burgers, or really anything for the non meat-eaters. This business is clearly loved by the owners, and they are building something special. As I mentioned, the burgers were superb, and hand cut fries were excellent too. A liquor license (maybe just beer and wine), and an expanded drink selection would be helpful future additions. I can't come back until they have something for my wife, but I look forward to that day!Glad you liked the burger. We do indeed have veg options, the elvis sandwich rocks, its organic too. We make one of the best green salads as well. Our name is Burger Joint, and that is what we do.
