I ordered an ultimate cheese sandwich that came out burned and made with the heel of the bread. The side salad was good, as was the dressing. Root beer was excellent, and the atmosphere is pleasant. When I reported the situation with the sandwich--9after I had eaten most of it since traffic at the window was heavy, I was hungry, and I didn't want to stand in line and have to wait again--the cashier person said there was nothing she could do since I had eaten most of the sandwich. Actually, I only ate the inside of the sandwich and left the bread for management to see. Anyway, whether I ate the sandwich or not is not the the issue. The issue is serving a burned black sandwich made also with the heel of the bread which was tough, having that reported to you, and then saying TS, "nothing we can do about it now; unfortunately, nobody's perfect." The fact that one orders and pays for one's food and drink before receiving it makes for an awkward situation when returning the food and complaining about it in front of other customers. No one from The establishment comes out and asks you if your food is okay. I was considerate enough not to complain in front of other customers, as it can be bad for business, and now I'm the loser. I will not be back. That's not good business practice. So sorry about your experience with your sandwich. I will speak to our staff about the situation. It is not normally our policy to replace something that has already been eaten. I am sure you can understand that this could set us up for a lot of abuse and people just looking for free food. But I would be happy to give you another sandwich of your choice as our food is excellent and would hate for you not to come back and be able to enjoy our place.

Come for breakfast, lunch and a wonderful Sunday Brunch. Open 7 days during season
Food was good, service fast, but I felt like I didn't belong. Cashiers is a wealthy community and maybe there was something common about me. There were no greetings with a smile here. Next time in town, if there are alternatives for breakfast, I'll go elsewhere.

Had dinner here with my family over the Labor Day holiday. This was an awesome meal -- one of the best I have had since moving to the South in 1992. A unique take on tapas. Servings are larger than the traditional Spanish tapas, so great for sharing. Amazing variety of elegantly prepared and exceptionally tasty cuisine. The entire family thought this was one of our best dinners ever. This is a must if you are in the Cashiers-Highlands area. Restaurant is small and deservedly very popular so be sure to reserve. Sangria is excellent but there is a full wine list also.

We arrived for a 1 pm lunch and it was pretty crowded. We got seated in 15 minutes, however. We liked this place. Good food and beer. We had the Gyro sandwiches and they were well done. I would definitely return.

After walking the hills of Trillium off 107, was ready for lunch. Got worried with the crowed parking area but Randevu has ample room inside and outside. Posted some photos of the interior as there wasnât any of there. Enjoyed their enchilada soup. Had their turkey cranberry sandwich and the chicken salad wrap. Both delicious. Pleasant service by the waitress.

Drinks were excellent but very expensive; $12-16. Service was excellent, professional and attentive. This is a very small restaurant, with a lot of staff and great food; so by nature expensive, but worth the price. The salads are terrific, especially the tomato. The spinach and the potato sides were delicious. We had prime rib, crab, lamb and fish and they were great, although the beef was a little tough. All in all a favorite!

To see this house, you wouldn't guess it was a restaurant except for the sign. But, indoors it is composed of different rooms, all very nice. We were seated at the back right near a window. The service and food were excellent. The atmosphere was upscale casual. It's kind of expensive but I was expecting that based on a reading of the menu online. We were looking for a special place and it turned out to be that. I would surely return.Reservations are recommended.

Dinning Options: Lunch & Dinner We are closed from January 31 till February 12. We are open on valentine's day.
The name may suggest a boisterous environment, but thatâs definitely not the case here. In fact we found it pleasantly serene and relaxing during our two experiences...one at lunch, the other for dinner. And yes, âgourmetâ is a proper adjective to describe the menu. For lunch, the salads, not your typical spring mix or iceberg, are abundant with nice touches to excite oneâs palate. Enjoy just the way they come or choose chicken, crab cakes, salmon, or shrimp for that extra morsel of deliciousness! Obviously there is an array of other offerings. Had we stayed longer in Highlands, no doubt we would have sampled a great many more. Now for the dinner meal...the Vidalia onion crusted salmon and the wasabi crusted salmon were our two choices. The salmon was perfectly prepared...medium rare...just on the done side of sushi! I was craving the grilled shrimp chopped salad as well...but that will have to wait until our next road trip in December. Wild Thyme is on Main Street but sits back in a conclave of other specialty shops. WT offers outdoor dining, weather permitting, as well....Fido is welcomed outdoors...on a leash or in your arms, So, donât give up on finding this special treat. If you do, youâll miss a great gourmet delight and a Wild Thyme!
