Once in awhile you need to treat yourself to something special. This is what you will get at Andria's Steakhouse in O'fallon, Illinois. You can't buy this grade and cut at your local grocer. If you grill at home, buy a jar of their steak brush-on or marinade sauce. Use it on all types of meat and chicken.

I should have kept driving and saved my money. I did not find the establishment worthy of the money spent. Either it is a local favorite, or the alcohol dulls the senses. Wings were over cooked and hard. Fish platter was a piece of frozen fish, which tasted as if it had been lost in the deep freeze, sweet potato fries were over cooked. Grilled cheese and fries for the kids was nothing special and at least edible. Hamburger was run of the mill with no seasoning. I need not go back, $42 for this meal was way to much! Yuck!!

Fell on this spot by accident when another destination was closed. All the staff is freindly and joking amongst themselves and with the customers. Make you feel very welcome. The menu makes you wonder what you;re in for, but when the food shows up you know you've found a gem. Very good selection and the staff check in on you to really make sure you're doing okay, not just to fill a square. Hardest part is to get the bill, they don't seem anxious to push you out the door. Great little spot for quality food. Very good breakfast.

We stopped in for dinner and I have to say that everything was great. Service and food. They start by bring you a bucket of peanuts. They also bring you rolls with dinner. I ordered Salmon with green beans and mash potatoes. All was good. We had one in our party that requires food prepared a special way. They were more than happy to do that and got it right the first time.Again, service was great. Prices fair.Full Bar. The restaurant and bathrooms were clean.Gladly go back.

Half Restaurant. Half Store. All Country
Several years ago my wife and I stopped happily at several Cracker Barrels on a cross-country trip. This time, after a stressful drive through St. Louis, I recommended a Cracker Barrel pause for rest and food and we were all glad I did. Though eerily identical, all of the Cracker Barrel restaurants seem to offer dependably very good food and friendly, competent service. I had the daily special Shepherdâs Pie, was very pleased with it, and I suspect will always go for the daily special on future visits to one Cracker Barrel or another.

Although it serves Italian food it also has some of the best fried chicken I have eaten. The desserts are fabulous and I believe they also serve seafood
Great food, sizeable portions, reasonable price, old fashioned attentiveness and friendliness. I chose the evening dinner special: a pork chop, two pieces of fried chicken, accompanied by a baked potato and homemade bread and a dinner salad. Everything was delicious, and the portions were huge. It was a very pleasant evening, and the total for my meal was less than $15.

Come savor our World Famous Pepper Loin. We marinate whole beef tenderloin in olive oil and fresh herbs and spices for 48 hours. It is then rolled in cracked pepper, kosher salt, and our house blend of spices, sliced into medallions and grilled to perfect
I enjoyed my medium rare peppercorn steak and onion rings appetizer and wedge salad. Problem is it took so long I couldâve went and grown the vegetables and butchered the cow myself. I donât know if they have the same perception of time as I do because they are so slow I almost got up and left. Had to ask 3 times to bring the bill and just generally took forever. The wait staff was polite so maybe itâs a staffing issue but who knows. So if your time isnât important to you then not a big deal but to me being slow and taking forever kind of sucks. Hello, Clintucky. Thank you for your review. We will be sure to get with our staff and remind them that timeliness is very important. Hope to see you again, soon!

After two good luncheon experiences, which included their homemade rolls with whipped butter, stuffed mushrooms, and french dip sandwich, one of the guests chose Lotawata Creek for a birthday celebration. We had heard much good about the quality of their "hand cut" steaks. Three different steak dinners were chosen - 11 oz rib eye, surf and turf, and 18oz T-Bone; 2 -mashed potatoes with brown gravy and one with white; green beans for a side vegetable. Since it was a birthday dinner, no one wanted to spoil the celebration. Comments later in the evening consisted that all felt like they were eating a plate of salt rather than a steak. The same was true with the green beans and also the brown gravy on the potatoes. The 11 oz rib eye steaks - one with the surf and turf and one individually, were lucky to be 1/4 inch, yes, 1/4 inch thick. When the Birthday guest asked if they had any bourbon and could they make a Manhattan, he was told that you don't use Bourbon in a Manhattan. Unless you prefer eating a plate of salt with a bowl of salt for vegetables and gravy, save yourself the drive to Lotawata Creek. Definitely DO NOT ORDER THE PLATE OF SALT THAT THEY CALL STEAKS. Am very disappointed that this place received Trip Advisor's Badge of Excellence.

This restaurant is great at supporting their local community. My daughter is often putting baskets together for one thing or another that supports organizations in Collinsville. Bandanas can always be counted on! They donate four bottles of their bbq sauce. I love supporting places that support others. So show them some love!

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The sprits distilled onsite are used in the creative cocktails and microbrews served at Old Herald. Beverages accompany delicious meals. Menu and decor are themed around the historic newspaper publishing business once housed in the building. Great location for craft brewery and distillery.
