Modern Spanish cuisine. Organic ingredients including our own farmed produce. Sustainably raised meats. Seafood Watch fish and shellfish. We are open for Sunday Brunch from 10am, and Monday Night Dinner from 6pm
Pompous attitude from the staff, food comes out when the kitchen staff decides to actually do some work, 30 minutes to get our server to take our drink order......I could go on and on.The attitude of this restaurant is identical to that of the staff at Lokal! I heard the owner of Lokal is the son of the owner of this excuse for a restaurant. Save your sanity and money and visit an establishment that appreciates its customers.

International Smoke infuses the way we gather, share, and experience food with flair and a healthy dose of attitude. Inspired by Chef Michael Mina and Ayesha Curryâs personal travels around the world, the restaurant celebrates food as the heart of the com
This place is from Michelin starred chef Michael Mina but super approachable and perfect for the Del Mar California atmosphere. You get 1 Michelin star service from the entire excellent wait and hosting staff. The food is excellent. It is expertly seasoned and consistent across courses. This place is as good or better than many 1 Michelin star restaurants i have dined at in San Francisco, Santiago De Compestella or London. Here is what we had which we loved:1. Falafel and Hummus2. Quinoa and Kale salad3. The short rib4. The roasted chicken5. The pudding combo6. The chocolate Lava Cake7. That apple thingAll of it is excellent so when you combine the excellent wait staff and the great food and consistency from course to course it = 1 Michelin star in my book although it may be too casuaul for san diego to get a star. However I have been to 1 michelin star dives in Hong Kong (Dim Sum) and Jay Fai (Bangkok) so this place should get one too.Bottom line is eat here for dinner and enjoy!!!!

The Lodge has a long ranch and resort history and fantastic food. The wait staff were the highlight and we have made it our "go to" place when in Carmel Valley.

We come to Carmel Valley often for family visits and always make a point of stopping at Trailside for breakfast. The best!! Many Choices for the healthy and hearty. Prices are very fair and portions are large. Eggs Benedict is the best Iâve ever had and Iâm very picky about my hollandaise. Here itâs definitely house-made with the perfect amount of lemon. Other outstanding selections include Huevos Rancheros, smoked salmon Benedict, Steinbeck omelette and the pancakes which are huge and delicious. We have honesty never had a bad meal here. There is a nice dog-friendly patio, inside dining, and a bar with sooo many beer selections.

Executive Chef Tim Wood's culinary exploits-many involving fruits and vegetables from The Ranch's Organic Garden-are on full display for breakfast, lunch and dinner in our Lodge Restaurant. Indoor, outdoor and lounge seating are all available.
Food was terribly disappointing. My wife and I went for lunch. Decided to share a Caesar salad and their fried chicken sandwich which our server said was wonderful. The salad was a pretty standard version. No complaint, but just OK. The sandwich was awful...it clearly was previously frozen, deep fried, and ruined when they added a very sweet thousand island style dressing and sweet pickles inside a semi stale pretzel bun. The sandwich came with French fries which obviously came straight of the Sysco truck. Then, when the bill came, I saw they had charged $5 each for iced tea...most expensive tea around. In summary, this is a one and done for us. Itâs a shame such a beautiful place serves such average at best food.

Lucia restaurant in Bernardus Lodge is up a vineyard lined driveway. They have Tesla charging stations. There was a wedding but we were seated outside near the croquet lawn, which was nicely shaded and had just the right amount of heat coming from above. Our waitress and all the staff were very good. I started with a raspberry lemonade which was really, really good. I ordered the ricotta, lemon pancakes which were excellent, and an interesting sort of deconstructed carrot cake which looked beautiful on the plate to share for dessert. Loved the ambiance, service and food. Looking forward already to my next visit.

From the friendly greeting at the door, to the prompt and efficient service (with a good dose of humor!) to the good food, we really enjoyed our brunch experience at the Wagon Wheel. Loved the memorabilia all over the walls and the laid back atmosphere. Wear your cowboy boots - you'll fit right in. Will definitely go back.
Top 5 Pizza food in Carmel Valley, California, United States

Like everywhere on the Monterey Peninsula and environs, the wine is ridiculously overpriced, except on Thursdays when it's half-price for any bottle under $100. Can't say too much about the menu other than the Pizza, except that if you like good French Fries, avoid them here. I mean, come on, the recipe isn't hard. This time I had a mushroom pizza and a bottle (most of which I took home with me) of wine and even though the mushrooms were obviously out of a can, the pizza was delicious.
