I really like Bubâs Cafe. The food is always fresh and delicious. Getting there is a little rough because of the construction, but it is worth the struggle. The portions are huge. The outdoor seating is nice and overlooks the bike trail. I donât know that I love the new setting of tall buildings that Carmel is constructing around the homey atmosphere of the downtown area. Just something to get used to, I guess.-good coffee-innovative dishes-consistent quality -comfortable indoor and outdoor seating-bread bowl breakfasts woohoo!Definitely a must visit.

On a recent trip to Indy we stopped at Mitchellâs Fish Market for lunch. We had to wait awhile for someone to notice that we had entered the restaurant. A server finally stopped us and seated us in her section. She was a great server! I started with the lobster bisque which was wonderful. The bread service was lovely - sourdough, hot and tasty. My entree was the special crab cake and shrimp. The crab cake was mostly filler and not a lot of crab. The shrimp was fine, the smashed potatoes yummy, but the corn was tasteless. The lunch was okay.

The variety of burgers is fabulous and extensive...the quality of the meat is top notch and their home made mustard is worthy of taking home.. we did ... the atmosphere is active and on the loud side the service is friendly and quick but not rushed. We have eaten here three times with always great enjoyment and consistency which is important. Take time to read the options..enjoy

Excellent food and superior service. The owner, Woody, was there both evenings we went, and all of the dishes we shared were superb. If I lived in Carmel I would definitely be a regular.

We had lunch outdoors at Matt the Miller's Tavern on a beautiful day in September and it was a very nice surprise. This place looks like the kind of restaurant in the suburbs of every city that depends on an attractive room and outdoor area and a fashionable location but that usually serves very ordinary food. This was definitely not the case. I opted for the cod sandwich and it was one of the best I have had. It was actually too big (not a problem if you box half and take it home) but was perfectly cooked, generous in terms of the fish, and served on a large bun that didn't seem like it came from a Wonder Bread factory. What a treat.Service was excellent. Our server was friendly, informative, paid exactly the right amount of attention, and was prompt with everything including the check when we were ready to head out. They offer several attractive soup/sandwich/salad combos that would be worth trying if I make it back there again. It isn't cheap but I felt like it was worth the price for remarkably good American food in Carmel.Thank you for your great review! We're so glad that you enjoyed everything and found us exceeding your original expectations. We appreciate the kind words and hope that you will join us again soon.Kristin HlavinMarketing Communications CoordinatorCLB [email protected]

We were staying at the Hampton inn (same parking lot) for a Volleyball tournament. We ended up going to this restaurant several times. Itâs great! Everything we ordered was outstanding. Service was good too! Highly recommend. Btw do not stay at the Hampton - that place needs a major update.

Popped in here for lunch, first visit and wasn't disappointed. The burgers are amazing! I only went for a quarter pounder but I saw some people trying to eat the full pound dirty burger, some managed it and some didn't but if you do, you can get your face on the wall. lol. Greats service and great price.

A2Z Café is a restaurant that provides quality kicked up comfort food at a decent price. Our menu consists of classic American fare as well as some not-so-classic...check out our Hawaiian offerings and Spam! Our dishes are from scratch, almost a lost art
The food and service in this small restaurant has quite the following due to its tasty and substantial portions along with its very friendly staff. Their breakfast menu includes several Hawaiian Island variations on a typical breakfast menu i.e Aloha Eggs Benny (Benedict). Though our wait when arriving around 11:15 am was close to 20 minutes, it was worth the wait. Ray or server was pleasant and professional.Hello! Thanks so much for taking the time to write a great review for A2Z on Trip Advisor. Yes, we are small (56 seats currently) but we hope to add to our space soon! Being a little Mom & Pop may actually help us grow the following that we have been fortunate enough to enjoy the last 5 years. That and great food and servers!! I have passed on your compliments to our Kitchen staff and also your server, Ray. We hope to see you again â¤ï¸a2Z Café

While visiting my aunt we decided to visit and enjoy some dessert and coffee. The restaurant itself is beautiful and the cakes looked amazing, although rather pricey. Upon making our way to the hostess, we were told it would be a 45 minute wait, but we could get takeout and sit outdoors in the courtyard. So we went that option. While waiting for our slices of cake, another woman walked in. I thought to myself she would have a long wait, but no, she was seated immediately. I might add that we are not young girls, but 72 and 60. However, we had on capris, shirts and both of us had baseball caps on. Apparently we were not dressed appropriately to be worthy of a seat. Needless to say, will not be back to this restaurant.Linda, We have been booked with reservations for a few months in advance. I am sure the woman who was seated had a reservation. If there is not a reservation, we would seat you at the next available table, which would have been a 45 minute wait time or shorter. We would never not seat someone if we had an available table. We love all of our customers and are grateful for each guest. We hope you return and we look forward to seeing you.
