Hungry? Thirsty? Wet? Then hop out of the pool and seat yourself to a tasty lunch at Captiva's best beach resort, 'Tween Waters Inn Island Resort & Spa. Here you'll find just about everything under the sun (or under the umbrellas) at the Oasis Pool Bar -
The Oasis Pool Bar mainly serves the guests of Tween Waters Inn as it is surrounded by the Innâs various guest units, including the delightful cottages, and the rest of the propertyâs lovely and very well tended grounds. Many trees were in flower during our visit, including one right near the pool entrance which kept dropping gorgeous long needle like bright pink flowers. It is really a pool complex, as there are two large swimming pools, one kiddie pool, and two hot tubs with bubble jetted water, a feature which fascinated our grandson no end. The Oasis bar and restaurant opens at eleven am sharp. The menu is very similar to that of the Crowâs Nest elsewhere on the grounds with more of a casual flair suitable to its pool locale. This is to say that sandwiches and other finger foods are the common items offered. Oasis does have a nice kiddie menu as well. All sorts of drinks are offered, many of them alcoholic if you enjoy drinking that early in the day. The sandwich selections are varied and tasty. Be forewarned that if you are there with a family, the tab can add up pretty quickly, as the food and drinks are not cheap. This place offers convenience so you wonât have to go back to your room to change clothes. While some other reviews have complained about the slow service, we did not at all find that to be the case. The waitstaff was always pleasant and very efficient to us, which was greatly appreciated. A side note not connected to the Oasis, but still a service offered by Tween Waters, is the presence of a very nice coffee bar across the pool from the restaurant. This allowed me to indulge my once or twice daily vanilla latte fix, which was very well prepared by the most pleasant servers imaginable except on the weekends when they are off duty and young kids substitute here with predictable results. One final note would be to watch what your pool-loving kids will charge while swimming here as the dining and drinking tab will add up very quickly if the Oasis becomes their luncheon choice du jour. Dear zapffee54210,Thank you for the feedback in regards to your experiences with us at the Oasis Pool Bar at Tween Waters Inn. We were happy to read you found our grounds and island ambiance charming as well as our pool complexes. We're glad you were able to enjoy our scratch made menu items, various specialty cocktails, as well as our friendly and efficient service. We appreciate you taking the time out of your day to write a review and we look forward to serving you in the future!Thank you,F&B Management

My wife and I have eaten here several times during our visits to Captiva and Sanibel.Food is good, nothing special but consistent.Because it is at the Tween Waters Resort and very convenient to visitors I sense the food and drink prices are a little above average. That being said not really unexpected. While we were there the Crab races were not going on.They will resume in October. If you havenât done that it is a must when you visit the Crows Nest on Tuesdayâs and Thursdayâs.We will definitely continue to go there.Dear erneetimw,Thank you for the feedback from your visits with us at the Crow's Nest Bar and Grille. We appreciate you taking the time to write a review. All of our menu items and their components are scratch made daily thanks to our Executive Chef, Greg Nelson. We can't wait to serve you on your next visit!Thank you,F&B Management

The BBQ shrimp was tasty and the fresh vegetables had a great flavor, ate them all. Fried shrimp also good. Little pricey for lunch. Our server Nora must have been sick, just didnât look right. Busy place, not many places open during the off season.

We ate here with our entire family on the first night of our vacation. I had the coconut shrimp and it was great. We sat outside and the bugs were out, even though the fans were blowing. We had a great time!

This was our second visit! We love the interesting decor and fun staff! Kerry was our adventure scout and she was awesome! We brought our parents with us this time and they enjoyed looking through all the decorations. The food was delicious and you need to save room for dessert! 282beckyf, Wow, thank you so much for your compliments, I am so glad you had the opportunity to look through all of our fun stuff while visiting! I'll make sure to pass along your words to Kerry and we will see you again!P.S. Rumor has it, there is a photo hung upside down somewhere in the restaurant, I haven't found it yet myself, but I continue to look for it!

We had a reservation for a group of 20 friends which included 4 children. We were seated right away and had prompt service. Everyone enjoyed their drinks, food and desserts. It was a Friday night and they had a singer outside preforming. Nice atmosphere on the island of Captiva.

This was our first visit back to Sunshine Seafood Cafe since their move and we love the new location on Andy Rosse Lane. They still take reservations and our group of six snagged a perfect outdoor table for a wonderful leisurely dinner. The food was amazing as always. Favorites are the wood-grilled blackened salmon and the tuna au poivre as well as the New Zealand lamb but the special of the day is always a great choice. Sunshine Seafood has a great wine list but you can also bring your own bottle with a corking fee of $25 per bottle (at the time of this review). Ending dinner with their phenomenal key lime pie is a must!

Welcome to the historic, award-winning Old Captiva House Restaurant, Gulf-front at the legendary, historic 'Tween Waters Island Resort & Spa. We invite you to sample our delicious New Florida cuisine, served with our gorgeous Captiva Island sunsets. Come,
We just got home from dining there and couldnât wait to post my review. The Chefs creations were awe inspiring. We had the seared scallops for the appetizer, large juicy and cooked to perfection served with a mixed greens watermelon salad. My wife had a fillet that you could cut with your fork. I had the seared tuna served with wasabi mashed potatoes egg rolls, bok choy and crimini mushrooms. The flavors really complimented each other. The house salad was delicious. I had carrot cake for desert and the cream cheese walnut frosting was great. The wait staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Hats off to the Captiva House restaurant. Dear S427PQgeorgec,Thank you so much for your feedback in reagrds to the Old Captiva House! We were there with the whole family to celebrate Christmas' Eve. The location is perfect, almost on the beach, as the name says. The staff was friendly and efficient, the location festive for the occasion, the food excellent (I especially recommend the hazelnut crusted tuna) and there was even music and room for dancing! We had a very good time for our first Christmas abroad!Thank you for sharing your experience! We're glad you and your family had a great evening at Traditions on the Beach to celebrate Christmas Eve. We appreciate your review and hope you had a great time on Sanibel during your stay!
