We stopped here last Saturday while on a group ride with our motorcycle group. This place is small but they squeezed us in (11 people) and the service was great and the food even greater. I had the club sandwich that was made with real turkey not processed great fries and homemade gravy.

We quite liked this restaurant. Nicely set up and decorated with spacious tables and booths with a lot of high chairs - which is a little differentThe menu offered some interesting choices, and the food quality was very good.Definitely a positive choice

We took the family out for lunch on Sunday. The service was a little slow. Don't order the fish and chips, the fish batter was crispy and burnt. Overall my husband said the steak was delicious with french fries.Hi Cindy, thanks for sharing your feedback with us!We are happy to hear that your husband enjoyed his meal. But, we are sad to hear that you did not. Can you please fill our form at reviews.montanassurvey.comYour reference number is 30600729-CC We want to make things right!

The restaurant sits on the shores of Puslinch Lake, just South of the 401 near Cambridge, ON at the Townline Rd., exit. Once you are seated and if luck enough to overlook the lake, you will think you are in the middle of the Muskoka's, instead of 2 minutes from the City and the 401 highway. In the summer, you may catch a glimpse of water skiers which the McLintock Family onsite is famous for. Switch to winter and you may see snowmobilers and ice-fishers on the lake. Now more importantly, the food...scratch made, and the must have is the "Puslinch" Burger, which is a fresh patty of monster proportions covered in mixed real cheese that overflows and crisps up on the flatop, add bacon and well there you have it, one of the best burgers in the Province, if not anywhere. The ambiance is rustic and cottage like and the downstairs is a really cool private spot that would be great for work or family events, alike. Did I mention, Fresh cut fries and local beer on tap!

Lots to choose from on the regular menu. They also have a separate vegan menu and gluten free options as well. Tons of great beers to choose from.Brisket platter was very tasty. Meat was super tender. Slaw was excellent as were the fries. Beans could have been cooked a bit longer as they were still kind of hard. BBQ dipping sauce was perfect for the brisket and the seasoned ketchup worked well with the fries.Wife had a vegan burger that she really enjoyed as well. Portions were very generous.Service was excellent. Manager even came over to check on us and we had a nice conversation with her too.Overall, I would recommend this place for a fun tasty meal out. Pricing is middle of the range. Not cheap but not expensive. ( I would have liked to have seen the $22 hot dog though)A bit of confusion on handicapped parking in front of the patio. Markings were quite worn and it was difficult to see where handicapped parking was on the lot.We will return for sure.

Weâve been coming here for years because itâs been consistently good with large portions and reasonable prices. On this occasion, we had been at the theatre with our grand children. We asked a lot of questions and our waitress seemed quite unsure but together we worked through it. She was quite pleasant and seemed very pleased with her tip!One teen wanted to substitute shrimp for chicken in a carbonara dish and wanted some items omitted. There was an up charge but the kitchen handled the requests beautifully! We had one order from the childâs menu. She was not offered dessert as in the past.In honour of Octoberfest, one special was pork schnitzel with red cabbage and choice of carb. It came with a tasty garlicky die Caesar. The waitress had no idea what spaetzl was so we decided on a loaded baked potato which is a poor substitute for a German dish! The pork was tender enough but the breading could have been much better and it was swimming in gravy.I ordered a 10â all dressed pizza- lots of flavour, lots of cheese but the crust is so thick, itâs difficult to get it cooked through. I would like a thin crust option! The portions are so big that we all had some to take home.

They were a wide variety of items on the lunch menu but just as impressive was the fact that you could eat inside at a table set with linens or outside on the patio under an umbrella in the sun or on a covered patio that gave you the feeling of being outside, alfresco but protection from the sun and if it had been raining shelter from that as well. The restaurant and washroom were completely wheelchair accessible and well-designed for full-time wheelchair users. The staff was extremely friendly, professional and attentive. I ordered the beet salad and the steamed mussels and both were very good⦠I wouldnât say excellent but the next best thing to it. We are deeply rooted in tradition, honouring the past in the style of today. This is evident in our restoration of the mill, but also in our menu. Our chefs take familiar classic dishes and turn them into something innovative, timeless and always deliciou
The building is beautiful, and the inside décor is well done. The menu is inviting. The website states âOur chefs take familiar classic dishes and turn them into something innovative, timeless and always deliciously satisfyingâ. I did not find that statement correct. I had eaten a filling lunch, so I ordered the burger for dinner. The âCraft Burgerâ is described as mill seasoning, smoked cheddar, house-made pickles, tomatoes, lettuce, roasted garlic aioli. Sounds delicious but the reality is very disappointing. The bun is big; the top is about an inch and a half thick with a toothpick stuck in it which gives the impression of a stacked burger. I didnât eat enough to really taste the aioli, but it was just a smear on top of the patty. The house-made pickles were two small thin rounds a little larger than a 25-cent piece. Then there was the meat patty. Dry and very much overcooked. Pretty much tasteless. I ate one bite and pushed the plate away. There is no mention of fries with the burger, so I ordered the side of shishito peppers. They were okay but would have benefitted from a little blistering in a hot pan. They were a bit oily. Fries did come with the burger and they were okay. But more is expected from a $19 burger and an $8 side. This is a very expensive restaurant that claims to be fine dining. I have eaten at their other properties and have always been well satisfied. The Cambridge Mill gets mostly good reviews, so I hope this was a one-time glitch, but I wonât be back to find out.

Funkadeelish burger joint in Cambridge Ontario
Firstly, this is an expensive place, but a cool concept - you get in there and can fully customize your burger. Sadly, I think that is where the coolness ends. It is a pricey place, and while the bun was good, the actual quality of the meat was not great. There was no flavor in the meat in my opinion, and it was way overcooked. The toppings did not seem super fresh either. The fries that came with it were overcooked and a bit cold... all in all, I was not a fan of this place, and it is unlikely that I would return.
