My daughter, who has lived in Brockport for three and a half years kept telling me, âDad, skip Perris Pizzaâ... OK, I didn't listen. I found out she was right! My experience was flawed in so many ways that it's unlikely I'll be going back even though I go to Brockport several times a year. Note that I said âexperienceâ. It wasn't just the food...First, let's talk about the food. While the pizza was flavorful with a decent amount of toppings, the crust must be the NY version of a Chicago-style pizza! It was about 1/3â thick! OK, the crust was nicely seasoned. But, way too thick for a NY pizza! The price was fair for a pizza. However, the wings! The wings were a bargain at six for $5.00! They were nicely sized and well cooked, but the âmediumâ sauce was too bland for my palate. I also had a cheesesteak sub which, while OK, was nothing special. Now, for the âexperienceâ, which is primarily the reason for the overall rating. First, I had to wait 45 minutes for my food at around 7:30 on a Friday evening in mid-December. Absolutely unacceptable! Second, I don't know what it is about places on Main Street in Brockport, but this is the second restaurant I've been to where I froze while inside! If there is Global Warming, I now know of two restaurants in Brockport which are not contributing to it!The only positive I can find in Perris is the late hours they keep on weekends for the students of SUNY-The College at Brockport. Between studying, partying, and... (you get the idea!), I'm sure the students appreciate the late hours for pizza delivery. As for me? I'll take my daughter's advice!

I'm not sure if this place changed ownership, but the sign out front says Eagle Diner & Steakhouse. I thought the food was good and the prices reasonable. It's conveniently located across the street from the Hampton Inn. The parking lot was full on a Friday night, so that's a good indicator. I'd go back there again.

Home of the World's Greatest Cheeseburger!
The food is good and service is always good at the Tap room. They bartenders Summer and David are great and they provide quick service with a smile. The waitress Kim is always hustling to take orders and serve food. This is a great place to meet friends for a drink, watch sports. Chicken wings are great here.

We were at the Brockport hospital early and looking for a place for breakfast. Right next to the hospital is Grinds which we had never heard of but which was recommended by a friend. They feature a variety of fresh coffee, espresso, and flavorings. They are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and had a tasty looking menu. We arrived for breakfast and had a slice of bacon and egg pizza. We tried to leave it at that but could not resist a tasty cookie and cupcake. Sometimes you just have to be naughty. The counter girl (I forgot to ask her name) was charming attentive and helpful. The food and coffee were just what we needed and wanted. Wr are looking forward to returning to sample some of their other fare.

In 2003, the Village Pantry's name was officially changed to 58 Main. The 58 Main Restaurant & Partyhouse has a full menu of classic home-style cooked American and Italian cuisine, and is proud to serve Certified Angus Beef. They offer in-house catering i
BBQ and appetizers were great. Service was great and atmosphere is OK, but high enclosed booths kept it quieter than it could have been if the booths had been open to the bar area. Should not disappoint for lunch.

I use to live in Brockport and this diner had the best fish frys in Rochester... primarily because they also offer the fish breaded, which I prefer to their battered version. I have craved this since moving to the west coast 5 years ago, so it was the first stop on my list. The fish was just as good as I remembered, but the fries tasted like they'd been fried in old oil and left a nasty tasted in my mouth for hours. Sadly, I won't make a stop here, if we return in another five years.

This appears to be a family run operation on the outskirts of town. It seems to be very popular with locals. The prices are reasonable but service is extremely slow, even for a cup of coffee and a piece of pie. Not a great choice if you are travelling and just stopping for a bite while on your way to another destination. Perhaps it is better if you have time and this is the only stop you are making.

We had to wait about 20 minutes since the place was packed. We were served quickly, however, once we were seated. The food was excellent and beautiful presentation and low enough prices. Three generations attended and we were all very pleased and had a wonderful time. Desserts were varied and delicious. One could tell that the servers & owner really cared about their customers & that was nice! They are only open for lunch, not dinners and only take reservations for 5 or more.

Located in downtown area of Brockport, Jimmy D's is a must visit every time we visit this area. I like the traditional "plate", with white hot dogs covered with their meat hot sauce. They have added a lot of different variations of this delicacy to their menu, giving me more reasons to visit a few times before we head back home. This is a must try.

New location...needs an update...Only one of their beers on tap. It is a basically a bar with beer and liquor and food. Maybe they are still in the process of renovating but it is not a nice looking place on the outside or the inside. Bartender was awesome though and the food was good! Had the fried buttermilk chicken sandwich which was thick and done just perfectly. The fries were very good! The decor and ambiance inside just needs some work. Maybe out on the deck which is right on the canal has a better look.
