Perry's is a great restaurant that has been a success for a long time in Brooklyn's famous Sheepshead Bay area of famous Brooklyn, New York. It has its own parking lot, which is a definite plus, but the angled parking and narrow space between both sides, makes parking a bit challenging. I think the slanted parking is because of the narrowness, and if the cars were straight, there would not be space to drive through. You definitely need to bring your top skills when you park in this lot!I have eaten in this location, all the way back to my kindergarten days when it was "The Trio" a long time ago. I have fond memories of my mom picking me up from a school, and taking me to lunch here every day. It's really a treat to be able to still eat here with her now! You will be greeted at the door, and shown a table. Perry himself is usually there, and is very gracious. There are booths on the left, and a full dining area with tables to the right. The counter used to span the entire back wall, but now there are large booths where half once was. The big booths are comfortable and give you plenty of room, especially for multiple plates on your table. Plenty of room for coats and handbags as well. Service is pretty good usually, some servers I prefer over others. A lot of old school American waiters, which is refreshing, rather than off the books illegals. We got the complete lunch a couple of times recently, which was excellent as far as their broiled fish like scrod and salmon filet, I heard nothing but rave reviews. You get soup or salad, and dessert included with your lunch, and I love a place that gives you a complete meal. I love their cream of turkey soup, it is super thick and delicious. Their salad is excellent, fresh and with delicious blue cheese dressing. So many places charge for every little thing, and you can really run up a bill. Iwe frequently dine in high end restaurants, places that will charge $12 for mashed potatoes, but here, you get a nice portion for example, and they're REAL made from scratch, very good and fresh. They also have excellent sauteed spinach as a side too.I got the brisket on the complete lunch, that was my only disappointment, it was very dry and pretty tasteless, so I would not get that again. The fish is excellent though, as I mentioned, and you get big portions of everything, plus a nice bread basket if you order the complete lunch.I was not all that impressed with their Reuben Sandwich, it was small, and the Swiss cheese was stiff, so I would not get that again.Sometimes we come here for breakfast, which is also excellent, and complete. They make good omelettes, but last time, they had to bring it back to the kitchen, as the cheese was not melted, not sure how it's possible to cook an omelette without melting the cheese in it, a fully cooked egg omelette with unmelted cheese in it, was a true feat. It was quickly remedied though, and then it was good. Dessert is delicious, chocolate cheese cake, rice pudding, regular cheesecake, and more. All delicious and a big variety that comes with your complete lunch, so you cannot go wrong! Coffee and tea as well!I've never been here for dinner, but I imagine it's quality.Overall, Perry's gets 5 stars, and it is a place to return to again and again when you want a quick quality meal whenever you're in Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn!
Brand New French/New American Restaurant with inventive cuisine by renowned chef, live entertainment, attentive staff and amazing atmosphere. Open 7 days a week from lunch till late night. Large parties welcome. Outdoor dining. Full bar. Weekend brunches.
Primarily been a hang out for Eastern Europeans. This restaurant creates a night club dancing atmosphere on friday-sunday nights when typically large parties are booked. But they are always open for brunch and have a closed outside space all the time for you to sit down and have a good meal.Good menu, with a number of good options. Prices are not for a moderate spend. But this is in-line with many similar places in the neighborhood. Tuna steak is really good, and they have many great appetizer options.

Came here for a late breakfast and was wowed with the ample selection and the flavors of each thing I had. My eggs Benedict with salmon were cooked to perfection, and the flavor matched its presentation. I want to go back and try other meals that were very enticing.

Nick was a local fisherman who docked his boat right here on Flatbush Avenue in 1955. Within a few years, people would stop to buy fresh lobsters and seafood right from the boat. Through the years the idea has grown into a successful restaurant --still in
My wife and I have passed by this establishment for years. One night as we were coming back from the Rockaways, we decided to stop in and check out the restaurant. I am so glad we did. We tried the Grilled Octopus, some raw oysters and sampled a Classic and Connecticut lobster roll. Everything was fantastic. My only complaint was the raw oysters may have been opened by someone with little experience in the fine art of oyster shucking. The waitress was also very nice and attentive. Definitely try out this seafood restaurant.

Quality food and service are the cornerstone of this Applebees. The two for 20 or 26 options are outstanding. Sirloin steak 7 or 9 oz were superb as was the onions, mushrooms potatoes and vegetable medley. The stout sirloin was mouth watering. Good fresh coffee. Skewered shrimp very tasty!

Not much to say about buying lunch from Nathan's during our trip to Coney Island except it was very disappointing. We went to the Boardwalk site for lunch. The dog itself was small and tasteless, with the actual sausage about half the thickness of a dog from a street cart in NYC.Which made the 30 min line and wait simply regretful.especially since you are hounded by homeless asking for money and food whilst you're captive in the line. Please don't get me wrong, I'll put my hand in my pocket for someone in need anytime, but by the 3rd one I was over it.My friends said the Onion rings and fries were good, but you go there for the dog. Save your money and walk by. Other places to eat without the hassle on the Boardwalk.

We have eaten at many a legitimate Jewish deli, and feel perfectly comfortable saying that many have earned their reputation for brusque service served alongside the pickles, pastrami and chopped liver. But if you're looking for short-tempered servers along with your schmaltz, Jay & Lloyd's Kosher Deli is absolutely NOT the place for you. This place is run by a mensch who is passionate about making his customers happy, along with serving superb, iconic deli fare. We're from Cherry Hill, NJ - we know excellent kosher deli, and this definitely fit the bill. Jay & Lloyd's was recommended to us by a trusted friend who knew we were looking for a good spot for lunch as we brought the whole mishpuchah to Brooklyn to celebrate my mom's 80th (she was born in Manhattan Beach, and we brought her back to visit her old home and hangouts.) I had called and spoken to Lloyd, who assured me that he would hold a table for our large group and treat us well. When we walked in we were treated warmly by the staff and the owner himself. In fact, as soon as we got ourselves settled he brought out a tray of appetizers for the group, as well as putting a special plate of latkes in applesauce in front of my mom, with the latkes shaped like the number 80! Everything was perfect from start to finish. The food was great, the service was warm, and the entire staff seemed delighted to be participating in our family celebration. Thank you to all. We will be back when we're in the neighborhood again!

I could not imagine that a burger with roast beef that was dipped in au jus, with sautéed onions would be anything but messy. I was so wrong....it was amazing. I will remember this for a long time.

Sometimes you get a restaurant that has beautiful views but the food is mediocre. That is certainly not the case with Kennedy's. The food is delicious. We had prime rib and it was cooked perfectly.Kennedy's is a great place to come with a loved one. It has a great ambiance and overlooks the beach. What's more romantic than watching the sunset?
