German/American Cuisine with Original Dishes Made Fresh Daily, Using Only the Finest Ingredients. Premium Tap Wall featuring Premium Imports & Small Batch Crafts. Live Music Performed every Thursday, Friday and Saturday
I ordered a Jaeger Schnizel. You would expect a good one with the restaurant's main thing. It was dry, obviously fresh from the freezer and slightly charred around the edges. The topping was clearly not the right stuff. It had no onions, no noticeable mushrooms and was creamy white like gravy. The potatoes were not even prepared like german potatoes. They had no flavor,no spices and still had the skins attached. I lived in Germany for four years, Finland for two and travel to Europe regularly. This place had no idea what they wrere doing on this one dish. When I complained about the poor quaiity of the food the waiter (young guy) looked at me like he could do nothing about it. I doubt he could since they had a big bar and were fairly proud of them selves. You know; give the food away and make profit on the booze. I will not return.By the way the picture in their ad shows a sandwich with a slice of American sandwich cheese hanging out. That is appropriate I suppose. I can get that at Buckeys and don't have to pay $16.00. Why did I rate them a two? I wasn't poisoned.Robert, we offer a combination of our own take on both American and German dishes -- sorry they were unable to impress you. We understand not every guest that comes in will fall in love with what we have to offer, but we're still very proud of it. Thanks for leaving this feedback.Have a good day,Richard, Owner

Had a very good combo dinner here. Contrary to many restaurants in the US where they overcook fish, the salmon here was just right. Also the shrimp and lobster tale were nicely cooked. Staff is friendly, maybe just a bit overeager. I get that people in the US want to eat fast but asking to take your salad away when you just started and pushing the check when still eating dinner is a bit much. Some people actually want to enjoy their food.

Today was the worst example of poor customer service I've ever received at a Fuddrucker's restaurant. The location was the Mira Mesa store in Southern California. Apparently, their order system crashed and subsequently all the orders were scrambled. This is rumor because the store manager was too busy trying to solve his kitchen problems to face all the hungry guests that had already paid for their meal. I can appreciate having a malfunction-it happens. However to leave at least 50 guests with no explanation, apology, or offer of refund, was appalling. We spent $ 47.00 on lunch. We ordered at 12:04 PM and didn't receive our food until 1:19 PM. The burgers were over-cooked to boot. When my husband approached the counter to speak to the manager, he was rebuffed. My husband was told the manager had no time for him. Additionally, his request for a business card was equally turned down. We traveled a good distance from our home to eat at this establishment. It was a planned trip to eat at Fuddrucker's then continue on to San Diego. Today, our experience soured our desire to eat at this once celebrated eatery. I would like corporate to contact me to explain how someone who has no management skills such as this individual can be successful within the Fuddrucker's business model. Today, the place was packed. Just think about how many customers were very unhappy about their Fuddrucker's experience. Additionally, how many people will speak of it to their friends. Advertising dollars are expensive, however poor customer service is sometimes priceless to fix. It is very sad, some people have no clue about running a business that is designed to ignite people to return over and over.

We made the mistake of coming here on NYE since the restaurant we had wanted to try originally was closed. We made a reservation at 4pm for 6:30pm. When we showed up our name wasnât even on the list but only about 7-8 tables were taken so we were seated right away. Thatâs where it went south. We sat for 25 minutes without a waiter even acknowledging our existence let alone bringing us a wine menu. The host brought us one but we ended up just having a glass of wine at the bar before walking to another restaurant. Thank you to Jonathan the bartender for attending to us. Thank goodness there are other places close by as we had taken an Uber to that area. As we walked out several people at the door were complaining that their reservations were not being honored either. A waitress at another restaurant was actually surprised since apparently this restaurant just re-opened. Save yourselves the hassle and go somewhere else.

Family owned and committed to fresh homemade comfort cuisine. Screened patio on the lake
Came here because of good TA reviews. We had salads which were good. Our server, Destiney, was fast and wonderful. BUT I had a view of the service counters and watched a plate of chicken and waffles sit 15 minutes (no exaggeration) on the first counter until 3/4 other orders with it were done. Then all of them another 8 minutes before the waitress from the back porch/ lake view room came for them. Unacceptable. I will be back but only if Destiney is my server. Iâm from out of town and have no vested interest in a good report for her, but tonight she was the only server who was on top of her orders.

Thanks to Bring Fido, we found this establishment. We had just spent time at the beach with the pooch and were seeking a dog-friendly place with outdoors eating, and we hit the jackpot. Nice selection of burgers, salads, sandwiches, and baked goods. My blue cheese and bacon burger was outstanding. We even bought a key lime pie to take back to the hotel for dessert. Not to be forgotten, they kindly brought water out for the dog.

The Grape Taste offers something to satisfy every kind of appetite. Enjoy premium wines and gourmet entrees right here in Lake Jackson!
We went here on a Saturday evening for my husbandâs birthday. The wait staff was very attentive and knowledgeable enough about wine that she could answer questions, we ended up each getting a wine flight which I have not seen often so that was really nice. We started with a cheese plate, I got some small plates (Caprese salami and salmon with pesto garlic butter), and my husband got one of the specials (red snapper encrusted with almonds and Parmesan over cheese ravioli with a cilantro hollandaise) and everything was delicious. Thank you so much for taking the time to review us! We're really glad you enjoyed your visit! We hope you will visit us again and try some of the other things on the menu! :)
