Reviews on American food in Bonn, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. Though probably best known as the capital of West Germany from 1949 to 1990 (and of reunified Germany until 1999), Bonn actually has a history dating back to the 1st century BC. Roman soldiers were stationed here and the largest known Roman fort was built at Bonn. In medieval times, the town gained prominence when the Archbishop of Cologne transferred his seat to Bonn. The city's most famous son is Ludwig van Beethoven, born in 1770 at Bonngasse, where a museum now honors him.

Burgermanufaktur is one of those restaurants where you'll know if you'll like it immediately after stepping into the building. The smell from the high quality ingredients is alluring and suggests what you can expect. The staff are kind, patient, and super-friendly, making for a welcoming atmosphere. And the burgers? Excellent. Incidentally, if you order a "side order" of the chili cheese fries, then you can skip the burger altogether. The portion is a meal all by itself. Peak times are pretty packed. Lunch and dinners will be tough to get a seat. You may have wait. Each time that I visit Bonn, I make a point of visiting. It's worth it.

This is a good place if you want a hamburger and fries, a notch above mcdonalds. The flavors are good, but the burgers are not all beef ~ as we are used to in the USA. The place is quite small a snack joint, and good if your looking for a hamburger fix with all the toppings. Be prepared to wait for the food and a place to sit.

... then come into this modern snack ... from a former organic butcher shop the owners have created a special burger fast food restaurant ... the burgers are very tasty and the sweet potato fries are phenomenal..I favor the cheese burger. .. but the Orient burger is for me very good vegetarian alternative ... for Ã50er it is a little unfamiliar to pick everything up .. but you get used to quickly and today I like the concept very much .... another advantage is. ..man can also order by phone and then pick up his burger ...A visit is worthwhile ... the presentation and the taste of the burgers speak for themselves anyway ... for lunch and dinner ...Bon appetit ...enjoy your meal

We got a dinner deal where you pay â¬8.50 on top of your choice of burger, and get a side dish (fries, coleslaw or mixed salad) and cocktail. We chose Wilder Westen (with milk cheese, bbq sauce, and fried onions) and Alsdann (with fried pear, gorgonzola sauce, and walnuts) beef burgers, which were the best we tried in a while. The alcohol-free cocktails (one with ginger beer, fresh ginger, cranberry, and lime and the other with mix of juices, elderflower, and lemon) were equally great, highly recommend. Fries and mixed salad were spectacular. The atmosphere is really nice, and because there are real green plants and birch trees around, its actually very fresh inside). Highly recommend this place for a dinner or lunch :)Hi BiscuittheBear! Thank you for your feedback! We are very happy to hear, that you enjoyed your visit with us! We hope to see you soon again. Yours, HANS IM GLÃCK
