The King George II Inn established in 1681 is on the National Historic Registry as one of the oldest continuously operated Inns. We serve lunch and dinner 7 days a week with a view of the Delaware River from 2 of our 5 dining rooms. Join us!
Have been coming here for years and we are never disappointed. Food and service are consistently the best! Since the new owners took over several uears ago, the quality is amazing. Everything is fresh and entree portions are large. Our waitress, Denise, was very engaging and efficient. Full menu service for lunch and dinner. Several dining areas, including a bar area with some table seating. Nice to sit in either the downstairs or upstairs rooms with a river view. There is a limited menu on nights when the Bristol Riverfront Theater has performances, but the options are plentiful and excellent. We split a Pecan Pear Salad to begin. The salad was large enough for both of us to enjoy a hearty portion. I opted for the fresh catch, which was red snapper. Served with rice pilaf or buttermilk mashed and quite a large amount of fresh, not overcooked, broccoli. It was excellent and quite a bit to eat. Hubs opted for a pasta and shrimp dish, equally as good. We ended by sharing a small, but wonderful lemon/lime tartlett. Many diners were taking home doggie bags. Definitely recommend eating here.

Liberty Bell Gastro-Pub INSIDE the PARX Casino 2999 Street Road Bensalem, Pennsylvania This visit we found Liberty Bell Pub (âcafé-styleâ eatery) INSIDE the PARX Casino very informal, comfortable, and nifty. The Table Servers were quite cordial, helpful, attentive, and, interested in making your brief eating experience a pleasant stop-in. The wide-open reveled high decibel energized ambiance was decent unless you are looking for a quieter experience for low conversation. Their food, again, this time around was again very tasty from their decent-enough of a âquick-bitesâ eating menu selection, just right for those interested in getting âin&outâ briskly, and at decent-enough prices that will not choke your wallet or pocket-book. We tended to linger and relax after our swiftly served meal. I am sure that makes those with a reservation have to wait a tad longer to be seated; so, you might want to arrive a tad early for your reservation to give you a chance to be seated on-time. My choice of the very-well-done Rib Burger with fries was delectable for me. I totally enjoy non-salty fries along with that nice, hefty, slab-sized scrumptious burger portion. My other friends enjoyed their slab portions of various eats that suited their individual taste buds. The only commentary was, that, this time, they said they found the drinks to be a tad âweakâ (âwatered-downâ) this time around, in comparison to the last time. All-in-All, it was a restful, relaxing experience and a nice break in the routine. Yes, we will eat there again the next time we pass that way.Thank you for your review!

Went with the wife for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. It was quiet and subdued. The service was very good. I had the lobster and steak. The wife had the Boubon Salmon. We did not order anything from the bar. We shared The chocolate dessert. Mmmmmmm.

Sofiabella Pizzeria in Bensalem, Pennsylvania, is the perfect place to enjoy a delicious pizza and other quality Italian food. Our legacy dates to 1977 and Bella Pizzeria. We are the Bensalem hometown pizzeria! We deliver to most addresses within 3 miles.
.....Nothing better than a hand-scooped milkshake to beat the stifling heat of summer. Sofiabella makes a very good one! I ate here several times when working in the area. Excellent sandwiches and very tasty pizzas to be had here. A nice family vibe, friendly people and well run restaurant...Thanks Kevin, sorry for the delay in responding. We appreciate your kind words and feedback. Your satisfaction is our pleasure!

The place is nice and the service was good. Only con - parking lot not very big - always full. They have the standard diner fare. Portions were average to small. However, their "Country Fried Steak" is the best I've ever had-and believe you me - I have tried all them all across the eastern seaboard. It will be one of our go-to diners for breakfast out. Highly recommend it - nice place.

When I am at PARX Casino I like to have a bite to eat but it seems every time I go there is a problem. I do love the crab legs, fried shrimp and wings but the past few times I went things were off. This time I ordered a burger, can't mess that up right? I made a point to say, I want a med rare but I want it to be pink inside, that one time it was too done for me. I literally got a raw uncooked burger. I like it rare but this was obscenely raw!!!! I quit!!! Can't seem to get a good meal lately. After making a point of it to the server, when I showed it to her, she said, that is med rare. No it isn't that was RAW!!! Not going back!!!! ugh.

We love it here. The food is always amazing. Itâs very kid friendly. All the waitresses are nice and helpful. When I was pregnant they made me mocktails and now with a toddler they offer him coloring and always engage him. Itâs definitely our favorite place to go for brunch/lunch or dinner.

This restaurant was recommended by a local hotel. The restaurant is located off of St., Road however it is convenient to many of the Bensalem area hotels. The restaurant sets within a strip center next to the Hampton Inn. Most of the customers in the restaurant appeared to be locals. We stopped by for breakfast. The food was fantastic. We both had the omelettes and the fruit waffles. The service at this place doesnât get any better. As a business traveler I wish that many of the other restaurants that I Frequent had the same level of service. Denise was our server and she did an excellent job making sure we were aware of all the specials, she was also very helpful going over the menu items and checking back often to make we didnât need anything. A gentleman what appeared to be the manager also stop by and asked if everything was OK. I would definitely recommend this restaurant at least for breakfast if youâre ever in the Bensalem area.

We chose ParxGrill to celebrate my birthday & our wedding anniversary. We had never been there before. We were seated in a comfy booth & we were warmly greeted by Kaitlyn, one of our servers. We admired the gorgeous decor, while we looked over the menu. Kaitlyn told us about the additions to the menu & helped us to choose a cabernet sauvignon from the extensive list. It was SO nice to have a friendly/cheerful server that smiled. Both Kait & Rock were attentive, efficient & treated us like valued customers. They couldn't have been any nicer. Service was impeccable. Hubby started off with seafood chowder. It was THE best he's ever had. It was FULL of BIG chunks of lobster, shrimp, scallops & oysters. It was served in a large terrine & was SO satisfying, it alone, could have been a meal. The assortment of rolls & flatbread were all yummy, as well. Personally, I particularly enjoyed the cheese biscuit. We shared a chopped salad. It was fresh & flavorful and chock full of ALL sorts of ingredients. The dressing was a nice light oil & vinegar that added just the right brightness. For our main course, I had the lamb chops & hubby had a special of the evening; a whole lobster topped with crab, etc. Everything was done to perfection. The portions were overly generous & we each took home a doggy bag. Our entrees were scrumptious. Kudos to the chefs who take pride in their craft. For dessert, we shared a slice of cheesecake which was presented beautifully & tasted even better. Even the coffee was fab.We had a 5 star flawless culinary experience/meal. Would we return? Absolutely. Would we recommend to friends/family? Positively.

We chose the Texas Roadhouse on Street Road to celebrate our belated 27th wedding anniversary and my wife's birthday today. We both decided to have the porterhouse steak because the reviews we read on the steaks were excellent, and we were sold. However our experiences differed greatly from the majority of the positive reviews we read. We were asked to pick the steaks we wanted at the display window which featured a wide range of steaks available for customers. Unfortunately the steaks on display looked dull and old, and we opted to choose from the menu provided by the restaurant. We were then seated at a table with no plates. We were given a basket of bread but had no plates to use to butter and eat the bread. Both the porterhouse steaks we ordered were big, tender, juicy, and cooked according to our specifications but the steaks had no flavor. They had no taste and it felt as if we were eating cardboard. We were only able to eat less than a third of the steaks because they were so bad. All we tasted was the flavor of the grill on the outer portion of the steak. Our pleasant server asked us if we want to take them home but we declined. We saw he felt bad about it, but I felt even worse because this is supposed to be our 27th wedding anniversary dinner, and my wife's birthday, but we left feeling hungry and upset that we drove all the way to Street Road to celebrate our special days, and I just wasted a total of $77.81 for tasteless meals. The baked sweet potato had no sweet potato flavor .In fact the taste was overwhelmed by the taste of the brown sugar it was swimming in. The house salad also didn't have much flavor and the ingredients were not fresh. However; the ambience and the service we received were fine thanks to the professionalism provided by the staff who attended to us, but the reason we chose to go to Texas Roadhouse was for the food that people raved about in their reviews. Our only positive experience in this entire episode was the positive and professionalism of the staff members.
