Brunello Restaurant & Bar is a premier dining experience in downtown Parkersburg at the Blennerhassett Hotel. The menu features a flavorful mix of Italian, French & American cuisine, fresh ingredients, distinctive appetizers, and handmade pastas and pizza
I have now visited Brunello 4 times since it opened a couple of months ago after a big remodel. Once was for breakfast after a night at the Blennerhassett hotel, once (on opening night) for dinner inside and twice more because we wanted to hear the band on the patio. (Watch for Jake Eddy's trio, he'll blow you away!)We had dinner on the patio and you'll feel like you're in a much bigger and more cosmopolitan location that good old Parkersburg. The food is very good and if Emily is there, you'll have outstanding service with a personal touch. She is just exactly the kind of person you'd want serving you food at a place like Brunello. The food is very nicely prepared and delicious. I really liked the salmon dinner I ordered. Desserts can sound a little bit unusual, but be brave, you will love what you order! The praline ice cream is my favorite, but my friends have raved about the bread pudding and the lemon dessert. OH! and one really nice addition to the new restaurant, the fire pits on the patio. A great way to warm up when it gets chilly, and what a cozy place to sit and chat with friends or listen to outstanding live music. Have a Bailey's and just soak up the niceness. Heel gezellig! I can't continue this glowing report without mentioning a bit of a disappointment on the first night. I really wasn't very happy with the remodel, I had loved the old Spat's. The new decor includes an open kitchen, and I suppose some people like that. The bar now has a tv at every table, not exactly what I'd like if I was having dinner with friends, but again, they didn't ask me. (I'd have eliminated all the TV's!) Probably these things were done to appeal to a younger clientele, but probably my least favorite thing.Thank you for taking the time to share this feedback with us about your experience while dining at Brunello Restaurant & Bar. We are glad to hear that you enjoy the new menu items and additions we made during renovations. We always appreciate hearing from our guests and hope to have you as our guest again soon. All the best, Amanda MGuest Services Manager

Wide variety of sandwiches and cold salads. All are exceptional. You cannot go wrong here. I typically get the Southwest Panini or the grilled cheese. The breads are superbly grilled and the sandwiches are deeply flavorful. The chef salad is enough for two meals. Oh, by the way they also have daily specials of quiche and soup. I almost forgot how wonderful the quiche is. The crust is flaky and the cheese oozes out. Man, I think I will eat there again tomorrow!!!!

A short walk from the Blennerhassette.. Amazing home cooked meals, loved their hearty breakfast selections... If you find a book on their numerous shelves and like it... You can purchase it for .50 and the money goes to a local charity...

Parkersburg Brewing offers various unique paninis, homemade starters and sides along with out 6 flagship beers and rotating seasonals. Our taproom is something truly unique to Parkersburg and surrounding area with a industrial/modern design with warm wood
A colleague of mine who had visited previously recommended I try this local brewery. On my last night there I was able to walk there from my hotel and I enjoyed my experience there.I tried their beer sampler, providing six 5 oz samples of different beers. Delicious. The food was typical pub style with local twists. The preparation and flavour was great and the prices extraordinarily low for what I am used to where I love.I will happily return here again.

Texas Roadhouse is a steak restaurant providing legendary food with legendary service. Texas Roadhouse specializes in hand-cut steaks, fresh-baked bread, fall-off-the-bone-ribs, and made-from-scratch sides. We also serve ice cold beer and legendary margar
We had a nice time at this Texas Roadhouse but the service was a little slow and some basic things like clean plates and special attention were missing. The issues were quickly and pleasantly resoved when they are brought to our servers attention. I had the steak and shrimp combo and it was cooked perfectly. My wife and friends were pleases with their meals but disappointed with the service as well. Our experience with this Texas Roadhouse was good but not great.

Came here for lunch with a friend. Have been here once before. Mostly deli sandwiches or grilled sandwiches although I think they have a few special entrees every day.Our food was very good, but the thing that impressed me most was a lady named Lois. Not sure if she's one of the owners or not. Very friendly people. I noticed below the cash register 3 papers with hand written biblical scriptures. Lois said that the employees can write them out and post them. What a refreshing thing to see and to know your amongst friends. Will be back.Good job guys and gals!

On our way to west Virginia. Checked trip advisor, great reviews on this place. I can agree whole heartedly. KAREN, our waitress, done an awesome job! She asked if it was our first time in. "Yes". She recommended some items on menu. Stated chili had a "kick", slaw and soups homemade. If we are this way again, definitely stopping.

A local tradition since 1899, the North End Tavern and Brewery (NET) is a brew pub in North Parkersburg, WV. Fun and casual, it serves microbrews crafted on-site and is known for some of the area's best sandwiches.
You get the trifecta coming here, great food, beer and atmosphere. I have been visited this pub 5 or 6 times in the last year. Every time I have enjoyed the experience. The last visit I brought two Charlestown attorneys with me and they enjoyed is a well. Both said it will be a regular stop when visiting the city.
