Unmatched Old World decor, a diverse wine cellar, and premier personal service are all complemented by our chef"s creative cuisine. Enjoy dining in one of our cozy booths or elegant tables with breathtaking views overlooking the Mississippi River.
This is an exquisite place inside and out and we were glad we tried it but were just not blown over with our meals as we expected to be. The salad however was the exception with pears, burrata cheese, mixed greens and other touches, it was beautifully presented and tasted wonderful! Hubby had the Red Snapper which he said was ok. I the Vegetables with Homemade Gnocchi with a Pesto Sauce. It was a huge disappointment. Gnocchi was fried and hard not the tenderness I expected, the veggies were big chunks and the carrots were very hard all with little sauce which really would not have made much of a difference. Perhaps because we dined during the week not enough attention was given to our entrees which seemed to lack freshness. The pour of our wines was quite generous! With all the positive reviews I would suggest you try this restaurant. Perhaps ours was a fluke. The owner does come to your table, we just do not like to complain but first impressions really do count.Dear panielsen, thank you for your feed back and we are dissapointed that you did not allow us to make it right. We would have gladly corrected your meal had we known. We will discuss you experience with the chef so we do not have the same experience.

on the banks of the Mississipps river
Great location, great atmosphere, good service and excellent food. You have 3 different seating choices - inside, outside and outside on a lower level. If the weather allows it definitely sit outside so that you have a great view of the Mississippi River. Our server was efficient and very personable. The entrees that we chose were large and properly prepared. We felt it was a good value for the prices charged. We would definitely return...
Keil's is a blend of the old time neighborhood bar with coffee house seating. The owners, Kevin and Vonnie Petesch, make you feel at home and are happy to share information about the area. Sharing popcorn and beer with friends in the comfy chairs was a relaxing way to end a busy day of hiking the area's trails. There are a variety of beers from the big national brands, some imports to small local brews. I look forward to making this a regular stop when in Bellevue.
I find this Subway to have the most choices for sandwich toppings than any other Subway I have been to. Outdoor deck has seating that looks over the lock and Dam on the Mississippi River. Always clean.

The location along the Mississippi River and the huge deck are the only things going for this business. We have tried the food on several occasions and it is always poor quality. The pizza is the best thing they have and even that is just average. So my advice is to enjoy the scenery, have a drink and forget the food.

Had a wonderful evening meal. A nice quaint restaurant, great food. We gals were staying in the area for two nights. We ate outside. The grounds were beautiful.

The interior is nothing special. The menu was surprisingly big with plenty of breakfast options all day. Service was friendly and helpful. Food was made fresh and tasted great. It was just the right spot to bring a couple of tired kids and everyone could get something they knew they would like. Great prices. Recommended for breakfast or a simple lunch and dinner.

Really interesting food. Tasty. Our server, Kyle, worked very hard to please. Smoked chicken was great. My wife had shrimp and cheesy grits...good meal.
