Our wine bar is stocked with wines that we produce locally at Happy Valley Vineyard and Winery in State College, PA. Our wines are available by the glass or bottle for here or by the bottle to go! We have a small selection of craft PA beers and hard cider
Doing some business in the area and decided to try out the Wine and Café on the Park. Even in the middle of winter, there is a nice ambiance to the place. The menu is light, and I am quite ok with that. The different local wines are good. Would definitely go there again because of those reasons and the personnel are great.

More than just pizza! Full service bar & restaurant, large menu with items varied enough for all tastes, locally owned and operated. Newly added micro brewery.
We have been here on several occasions and have enjoyed sitting in the bar area. My husband enjoys one of their draft beers, but we forget the name. We have had the Italian sub, steak sandwich, hamburgers and battered fries. The fries are expensive but feed two easily. I find their menu items to be a bit pricier than similar restaurants. It is good pub food and service has always been outstanding. Multiple TVs provide coverage of many sporting events. It can get quite crowded on weekend evenings but thins out after 9 pm.

The pizza is above average, but not great. Ours was a little doughey and could have been in the oven a couple more minutes, but otherwise was very good. Our garlic bread sticks were some of the best garlic knots we have ever had though - and had plenty of garlic butter to dip them in. Strangely the garlic bread sticks came out after the pizza. Oh well, no complaints - just a solid pizza place.

First time here. I'd heard good things about it and happened to be in Bellefonte. What a fun little place. I loved how they have patrons customizing their own burgers. Plus I"m always up for good onion rings and creative milk shakes, so this place was a win win for me. And get this - I had a 1/4 pound burger with lots of fixings, fresh cut fries, a generous serving of onion rings AND a grasshopper themed milk shake that was huge. All delicious. $13.78 with tax. Seriously? How are they even making any money?

The exterior is a bit shabby. The lot is dirty and has parking meters so you have to pay to park, which is ridiculous. Daughter and I were seated at 1352hrs. Waitress was polite and we placed our order quickly, daughter got waffle and bacon and I ordered chicken noodle soup and a turkey special. Drinks came in tiny (8-10 oz) glasses and they charged $2.45 for the tiny soda but did give free refills, they need to invest in larger glasses(see photo). Soup came out quickly and it was terrible. It was a tiny portion in a crock and it was room temperature at best. There was not a single piece of chicken in the soup (see picture.) 14 minutes after we placed our order, the waitress told me they ran out of the stuffing that came with the turkey special and I changed my order to a tomato/bacon/cheddar omelet. My daughter's food came out about two minutes after I placed my new order. Her waffle was cold. The bacon was to a overcooked and burnt. As my daughter finished her meal, out came my meal. It was a terrible breakfast. The "home fries" were heavily greased red potatoes cut into thicker than usual slices with tiny hunks of greasy onion bits. The omelet was over-cooked and dry. Very little cheese and it seemed small for a three egg omelet. See photo. The english muffin was small and thin, as if some generic cheap brand. The carpet needed to swept, the men's room was disgusting with a sticky floor, no urinal (only regular house type toilet) and no paper towels in dispenser. My daughter said the women's room was "disgusting." I am a bit perplexed at all the high ratings if our meal was typical of what they serve. My stomach hurt for hours after eating because of all the grease on the spuds. We ended up paying about $25 for this horrible meal (see photo of receipt). My experience leads me to define this place as a low end greasy spoon to be avoided.

We've been coming here for a long time. The Texas Ranch Buffalo Chicken Pizza is a must. Don't forget the Garlic Cheese Bread (Pizza) I like it with a side of Texas Ranch for dipping. The pizza is greasy but that is one of the appeals and incredible flavor that makes the pizzas special.

The Blonde Bistro is owned and operated by chef Ciara Semack. This restaurant is a short drive off interstate 80 and is in the heart of downtown Bellefonte. All items are made to order from scratch. Homemade bread, pasta sauces, and chef created dishes re
Very eclectic atmosphere and choices of specials. Since eating there, I've followed their Facebook page, and they have a seemingly endless supply of different specials, mainly on the weekends. I'd tell you exactly what I had, but they seem to change up so often, I couldn't give you the exact name, and I don't they'd have it exactly the same. It was a chicken dish, very well-prepared, and seasoned well, but not over-done. Are the specials a little pricier? Yes, but they seem a little more involved than the simpler appetizers, also on the specials menu. Luckily, it was between the Lunch and Dinner rushes when I stopped in on a Saturday. I was going to try something like a fancy burger, but when not try something unique. Was it worth it? Yes. Would I eat that fancy/expensive every weekend? No. But if you want something different with creativity and some through behind it, try here. Service was friendly, and could actually explain the menu options.

My wife and I visited the Governor's Pub for the first time yesterday for an early dinner. The food and service were excellent. I had their Blue Crab Mac & Cheese which was awesome, and my wife enjoyed the Talleyrand Chicken Sandwich and Homemade Fries. We would recommend this restaurant and these meals. Thanks for the kind words and visiting The Governors' Pub. So glad you enjoyed the homemade Crab Mac n Cheese, and Chicken Club. We do cut our French fries, double fried, which makes them extra good! Thank you for the comments and hope you and your wife stop again!

The Hublersburg Inn is an American style restaurant and bed & breakfast that dates back to 1827. It is a favorite among locals and a great find for travelers! Casual menu, cozy pub, fireplace in the dining room and a lovely garden patio. Close to State Co
We ate here with another couple on a Wednesday, and it was jammed. Took about ten minutes for our table to be ready, although we had 6:30 reservations. First disappointment was that they were out of several menu items. My wife had to settle for her third choice. Drinks took a while to get to us and they brought my wife a chardonnay rather than the rose she had ordered. The food came out all at once, even though we had ordered an appetizer (fried cheese curds) for the table and salads, but they had forgotten my salad and the cheese curds. We told them to forget the cheese curds, but they came out late anyhow. The waitress took the cheese curds and my wife's drink off the bill.On the positive side, the some of the food was good! My burger was done perfectly medium rare. My wife thought the ravioli she settled for was too sweet and didn't finish. The cheese curds and salads were good.
