The Green Turtle is a dynamic bar located in Terminal 1 at the Belize cruise port, Fort Street Tourism Village, in the beautiful tropical country of Belize, half a minute away from the You Better Belize It Bar and Grill. The Green Turtle Bar is known for
While visiting Belize City we needed a break from the heat and popped into The Green Turtle. The drinks are average and the prices are a bit higher than expected. This isn't a high end eatery or alcoholic beverage establishment, it's a hut.Don't do what we did, make sure you ask the price before you order so you don't get a bit of sticker shock...
As an American on his eighth trip to Belize and someone committed to good food I have to crow about the Jamesville restaurant located where the Burrell Boom Cut crosses the Belize River just outside of Burrell Boom. The menu is typical Belize food with some Spanish Belizean dishes thrown in. What sets Jamesville apart from the numerous others offering this type of food is that it is simply the best. I have had ceviche in many parts of Central and South America and theirs can't be beat. The fried snapper is outstanding as is the stew chicken and pork. Often a daily special with a Spanish flair like "Black Dinner" will be available. The setting, while modest, is always clean and quite a bit nicer than most. If you have to go out of your way to go there-do it, you won't regret it.
Located at the Marina, less than 2 miles from the airport. It has VIP Lounges and bar with 6 TV's that can show any sports. We also do Karaoke, and Hookah available upon request.
I have eaten at this restaurant two times now. The first one was Valentine's Day, 2019. They had a special menu and drinks. The service was terrible, the food mediocre, and we had to ask for more drinks 3 times. We ended up leaving early and going somewhere else to get a drink. I gave them another chance in May, 2019. I ordered a margarita and was informed after waiting a while for it, that the bar had no tequila. I then ordered another drink that was terrible. When our food arrived, it was the same as before--street food would have tasted better and been much cheaper. Again I left more than disappointed and I will never return there to eat or drink. They are priced like they are high end, but the quality is low at best.
A casual, Belizean atmosphere with fair prices for linch. Good food at a fair price, Try the specials if they are still available. Fresh fruit juices are very good and well price. My favourite is the 'lime juice', an intensely flavoured limeade - bring a bottle of water, it can be diluted two to one and still taste like the limeade you're used to!
All Day Breakfast, Burgers and Shakes!
Wow! This experience was definately one for the books! The food was made fresh to order, the portions were really big, I left feeling like really full and happy about choosing The Memorial Park Diner. Definately a must try, they have specialty burgers and wings as well. Thos place is really doing it's thing.
A hidden treasure right in Crooked Tree bush of Belize. Come get away from the busy scene to a great escape of peace and quiet while you eat some food that tastes out of this world. Cabanas for rent right after your belly gets full. Burgers, BBQ, Panadas,
I donât know about the resort part but I did eat in the restaurant several times. This place is popular with the locals. I got there too late for Sunday dinner and all the food was gone except for burgers. Mine was really good though.People are very nice. Two of the best things. They have CNN on the TV and are a 5 minute walk from birds eye view lodge which charges tourist prices for food and doesnât have TV (that isnât a bad thing as I read two books while staying there).

I liked the selection of vegan options and my sandwich was excellent. Atmosphere was airy and elegant. However, our service was very slow and not super friendlyThank you so much for your feedback. We have had a recent training to improve the timing of our food service and also to our customer service. We do stress the importance of both to our staff. I am happy you enjoyed sandwich and appreciated the personal touch Martha ( my mom) has put into the decor or our cafe. We hope to see you again very soon .With gratitude,Michelle

I paid $10 US for 1 cup of orange-colored rice with 1/4 cups chopped vegetables mixed in. This is their idea of vegetarian paella. With no saffron taste to speak of, it was a decent Chinese side dish of rice with vegetables but a poor paella. I went back to my room and ate a 2-day old muffin I brought from home in order to feel full. The squished muffin was better than the rice.

Come enjoy our delicious twist to a bunch of local, and international cuisines! Oh! did we mention our unique and savory alcoholic/ nonalcoholic drinks?
I really enjoy the Chipotle Bowl at Mimi's! It extremely delicious, fresh and is a mixture of flavors bursting in your mouth. The salad has fresh lettuce, black beans, cheddar cheese, tomatoes, corn, chicken, Spanish yellow rice and sour cream. It is also complemented by a chipotle sauce which has some mild peppers flavors in it. I also enjoyed the tortilla soup and the other items on the Mexican menu. The ambiance is great with light modern music. Inside has AC and outside has fresh air. The service is good, food takes about 15 minutes to be served. I would strongly recommend going there.

We stayed at Leaning Palm Resort for 5 days and from our arrival to our departure, every meal was beautifully presented, fresh, unique, regional and beyond our expectations. If you are not staying at the resort, we highly recommend stopping for lunch. The food is extraordinary and will not disappoint. The scenery makes it one of the most spectacular dining experiences on earth. The owners and hosts, Taunya and Ken, pay attention to every last detail of service and comfort. For lunch, we highly recommend the chicken panadas and the black bean quesadillas. Breakfast and Dinner were equally awesome, along with special happy hour drinks and snacks.
