Most Subway restaurants are consistent with each other, as is this one. Once again, the typical tricky parking area greets you, but once in, well...it's a Subway. Good breads, good ingredients, the prices are pretty good - different from store to store in this area, but all in the ball park. Sometimes they run store-specific specials...sometimes not. The sandwiches rarely look like the advertisements (think compressed, compacted versions of the tv or menu or advertisement images), but the foot longs are indeed a foot long and they taste pretty good. I have to say I was disappointed at the appearance of the applewood smoked pulled pork special because it looked NOTHING like the fluffy, inviting version on the billboards and on the store menu board, but it actually was quite tasty despite looking like cat food smeared on a loaf . But, for the most part, the basics are consistent and the ingredients are fresh-looking (other than the pork schmear)... Would be nice if they brought back the $5 foot longs...

Back in Wisconsin from Florida, there is no equal in the area to this fine restaurant. We are greeted by Morgan (the best ambassador a place could have) and her kind smile leads us outside overlooking the lush golf course. There aren't that many evenings you can wish for nice temps/ low humidity/no bugs and a great meal, but here it is. We know shrimp back hoe but I opt for shrimp at Old Hickory. Eight plump shrimp fried golden brown. I ask for a side of drawn butter and Samantha obliges me with a friendly "No problem." In fact everything here is no problem...good beer selection, full bar, plenty of parking and a dynamite view to go with dynamite food. My spouse struggles over the Friday perch and the wonderful fish fry. The perch wins (again) and she is rewarded with a plateful of sweet filets. No bones, hot, crispy fries and savory slaw. We are thankful for many things, but are reminded of how could it can be at Old H! Thanks Morgan, Samantha and the people that made our experience truly great!

I've eaten here a few times, always good food. I've even eaten here for a sportman's club, they did a very good job with a wild game feed.

My family went to voelkers to try their Friday night fish fry. The food was good but the service was terrible. We were sitting at the table and a waitress came to our table and threw the menus down on the table. Understaffed? Very unfriendly.

Our business stems from the original Pizza Villa of Beaver Dam and we still using the same official pizza recipe developed in 1982. You will always receive exactly what you expect from the team at Park Plaza Pizza including a family atmosphere, friendly s
Went there because they had pan pizza. Being from the chicago area was expecting a thick crust. Was disappointed when it came out and it was thin. Thought they got the order wrong but found out that was "thick". Tasted ok but just not what we expected. Also ordered an appetizer of some fried foods and they were over cooked.

Arrived on a Friday at 6:30. That was my fault, but we were not in a hurry. Big bar area and it was packed. Waited about an hour for a table. The quality of the food is excellent. The filet was top notch and ranked up there with filet's I have had that cost quite a bit more. Where they missed a little was on the presentation. Shrimp cocktail was just tossed on a plate. Salad was a little boring, with only a few none lettuce items. But I guess you go to a place for the main meal and that filet was done perfect and had a great flavor. You can always tell when you cut into a quality piece of beef and this was it. Very reasonable drink and food prices. Bartenders were very good and always looking to help. Servers were good as well.

A menu with a wide range of selections. Reasonable prices. Fast, friendly service. Breakfast is available all day.Food quality is slightly above average - nothing outstanding. But the quality is consistent across the entire menu and over several visits. This is a reliable destination for our family and always a safe bet for taking unexpected company.

I eat here one to two times a month and can always rely on the food being delicious. Today I enjoyed the fish tacos and loaded potato soup. Yum

Came here for breakfast for my first time with family. Service was friendly and attentive. Table was wobbly and that courtyard with that tacky outdoor décor...well, I sensing that it was intended to be that way and not taken seriously so I can't fault them for that. So, I had the "All You Can Eat: French Toast" (Thursday special) and when it came out...WOW!!! 8 slices (4 full slices of bread) of what looked like very homemade French Toast. Golden brown nice and eggy, nice flavor. But I couldn't even think about ordering any more than that, but at $3.79 for that huge portion, what a deal! I also ordered a side of bacon (crispy) and milk. Overall, very satisfied when I'm back in Beaver Dam, I'd love to stop here again for breakfast.

Feels like youâre walking into a bar that just serves burgers come to find out they serve the best prime rib in the area! Service was fast! From seated to bill was only a half hour but didnât feel rushed or like they were trying to get rid of us. Everyone was friendly from bartenders to waitress. Loved all the pre-dinner munchies - buns with honey butter, relish tray, cheeses with crackers plenty to hold you over til dinner. Very satisfied!
