We got off the main road to find Murder Point Oysters. We asked where we should eat & we decided to try Catalinaâs. The staff is so friendly, attentive & kind. My husband ordered the catfish with fries, slaw & hush puppies and I ordered the shrimp with a baked sweet potato, salad & hush puppies. Both were very good. My grandfather owned a small restaurant in our small hometown when I was growing up, which so reminded me of those days where the locals come in & the staff apologizes because they forgot your birthday was the day before!

Start with a salad. Itâs just your basic iceberg mix but their house made dressings are amazing - especially the thousand island. We had mullet and grits (Wednesday special) and grilled shrimp. Exceptional mullet! Shrimp were good but not terribly large. Nice baked potato. Donât expect ambiance. Feels like an old greasy diner but well worth going to. Very nice food!

They served soups, sandwiches, salads, and desserts. Very nice people and good food.
Hearty salad plates. I got the 3 salad plate with chicken salad, broccoli salad, & waldorf salad. Spouse got the shrimp salad, with broccoli salad, & waldorf salad. All very fresh, delicious, & filling. Also got the broccoli cheese soup & the minestrone soup. Price was decent, cafe clean, quiet, with nice view of courtyard. Staff friendly.

Unique. Awesome. Fabulous. Creations comparable to the best restaurant anywhere. Today we tried Alfredo and itâs just as spectacular as the hollandaise. Fried grits are also a must. Bread pudding to die for. They put so much love into their cooking and it shows!
