Located across the street from the Galena Mining Museum. Parking on site. Fast, friendly service. I had breakfast - fried eggs that were clearly AA and runny, as requested. Thick crispy bacon and very good country-fried potatoes. I watched lunch platters being served - big burgers, big portions, big helpings of delicious looking onion rings and fries. I bought a chocolate chip cookie and discovered later that it was the best chocolate chip cookie I have ever had. The next morning I drove from Joplin to Galena to get a couple more but none had been baked yet - it was still early. They are baked fresh. And the other baked goods looked wonderful. Galena is a small town but the place was pretty busy. Family friendly. Lots of kids enjoying their food. Refills on coffee. Very good prices.

Service by Ms. Destany was very satisfactory! The flank steak was excellent! Melts in the mouth. The crawfish were not so fresh. The shrimps were fresh. The fried rice with scallion and mashed potatoes were both good.Their cheesecake is incomparable with Juniorâs, which is the best in terms of texture, consistency and taste.Buffet with cold (iced tea, soda) and hot drinks (tea, coffee) is $19.99.

The most noticeable thing here is the management or lack of. Everyone that stepped up the the podium to be seated waited and waited. They were likely under staffed but the place was not full. It took one hour to have lunch. The service once you got it was friendly, just infrequent. The food was actually good, a surprise based how the front of the house was running. If you want to watch a game on TV, you will. They have more TVs hanging than square footage. If you are in a hurry, hurry on to somewhere else. If service is low on your list, this might be the place for you.

I have been here a few times while staying at Downstream casino. It is a very nice restaurant, great food and service. Its higher than normal restaurants but eat here once and you will see why and appreciate the food/price! Please visit and enjoy!

The place was closed Easter weekend when we went through here, But it was still a great Photo Op. This like being on the Movie set of the 'Cars' Movie. Drop by and drop in if they are open. Great stop for the kids to unwind.

Breakfast Brunch..Scrambled eggs good, but bacon not crisp. No cereals hot or cold. No bagels or other breads, just toast and cinnamon rolls. I saw no juices. Some fruit and also yogurt. If you love biscuits and gravy, you are in luck. Staff very pleasant and helpful.

This is a great family run place with tasty, fresh food. Service is very friendly, fast, and helpful. They really take care of you. The portions are good sized, and prices are reasonable for the amount you get. My mom said that the ribs special were the best that she has ever had (and we've been to a lot of rib places) We were on our way through, but if I'm ever in the area again, I'll be back for sure!

Stopped in around noon last Friday and my husband really wanted breakfast. Well, he got it. They serve it all day...but they do close at 2:00 each day. He had the special of 2 eggs, 2 sausage, hash browns, toast and coffee all for only $6.50. I had the ham and eggs with toast for $6 (included coffee). Service was very fast and the servers were all very friendly. Place is a small town diner with lots of options. Also very clean. I would highly recommend this restaurant!
