Home town owners, great food and friendly service. Dinner portions are generous, homemade potato and macaroni salad available for sides. Hawaiian pizza is the best with bacon, ham, pineapple and cherries upon request. Now serving beer and wine, along with limited cocktail menu. Extremely clean and spacious.
Our favorite is their prime rib special. The décor is lovely and the view onto the golf course and woods beyond as the sun sets is truly lovely. The service is usually quite good at least in the summer, which is when we go.

this is a family diner, bar, restaurant with very good food and pizza. their phone number is (989) 876-8612
My grandfather comes here all the time and raves about this place.. The food was great but the service was absolutely terrible. The waitress missed one of our drinks at the table and we had to wait ten minutes to get it. Our food came and it was great. The waitress just dropped the bill afterward and did not day anything -- we were staying the whole night. She should have asked us if we need anything else. She just wanted us outta there.. I guess they have no need for good paying customers.

This place took a nosedive when the previous owners had it. Since then though, the new owners have improved it a lot . We eat here once in a while, mostly for dinner and they have good food and a decent draft beer selection.

SERVICE WAS GREAT. Food came fast. Small menu. The food was just OK. It was mothers day and you have to give them lots of credit for giving out FREE cupcakes to us Mom's and the people who brought us there. Very nice of them. Everything was WELL buttered. Hope you like butter. We were there after 6:30 at night and the bakery section was almost empty. . I believe they had a sell out day. The pizza at the next table looked like what we should have ordered, (at our waitress's suggestion) but we choose a prime rib sandwich and an egg omelet. I may stop again and next time I will try the pizza.

This used to be our go-to place in Au Gres. Either they are having financial trouble or they hired terrible help in the kitchen during the off season. The Saturday night buffet has been discontinued due to off-season traffic, (this was in mid-October) so we ordered sandwiches off the menu. I ordered a turkey-roasted red pepper-pesto panini for $9.95. My girlfriend ordered a club sandwich for $8.95. My panini had two and a half little thin slices of turkey on it. The pieces were about half of my palm in size and not even 1/8" thick. Opening the sandwich the single thickness turkey did not even cover half the bread. I seriously doubt that my panini had over one ounce of meat on it. There were a few traces of red pepper chunks and perhaps 1/4 tsp of pesto. It was essentially a mayo and tomato slice sandwich with traces of turkey. Both plates were served with french fries but in only a tiny portion on each plate. I counted - there were 14 half-size fries. It was a terrible value, so I sent it back. I would have asked for it to be remade but there was very a loud argument going on in the kitchen with a male voice shouting at a female voice. I did not think that whatever coming back out would be any better. My girlfriend's club was not any better. Single very thin slices of the meat that were thinner than the cheese. Again it was a bread and mayo sandwich with content appearing to be made during a period of rationing. We may return in the summer when they have a buffet, but the menu items are a terrible value. We will not return soon.
