I love fired gizzards. It is pretty hard to beat a perfectly fired gizzard, but it is becoming increasingly hard to find someone who makes that "perfect" gizzard! My wife and I have found that the KFC in Andover, KS still makes the best gizzards. We usually make ourselves sick because we order and eat so many! Also, if you like mashed potatoes and brown gravy, you should try KFC's! They do an amazing job of making theirs just the way I remember my grandmother used to make hers! Give it a try!

In town on business and felt like some barbecue for lunch. Booneâs is a little off the beaten path, but very worth the stop. The lunch special was a French dip prime rib sandwich. It was excellent. The owner offered me some fresh-from-the-oven apple crisp and it too was delicious.I need to try the rest of the menu. Iâll be back!

This cowboy bar sits on a corner in Andover and it draws fans from all over. The interior is cluttered with lights, posters, mementoes and a pool table but when you open the menu, there is no question it is serious about a great burger and a beer.The beef comes from Yoder Meats and has a classic deep beef flavor.The fried onions and cheese ramp it up even more. I urge you to add a side of Tater Tots.Our server was so friendly and country music in the background.This is a place so casual and welcoming that you will leave full and happy!When you need a fantastic burger at a no frills place, this is where you want to be!

Brunch at the Hereford House in beautifulTerradyne Country Club. This place is great. I have eaten here several times, both brunch and dinner; but Sunday's brunch was the best! Many, many choices including breakfast items, waffles, scrambled eggs, bisquits and gravy, as well as cooked to order omlettes. Plenty of desserts and salads too.Mimosas and bloody marys were very good and well poured. Some of the choices were chicken fried chicken, pepper steak, candied ham, and prime rib. Really nice place for a meal right here in Andover. Small and intimate surroundings, nicely decorated and welcoming interior. Friendly helpful server assisted us with the menu. Food choices were interesting, different, and widely varying. The Caprese appetizer was wonderful, but wish there had been several more pieces of the delicious bread. Salmon dish was split between two. The salmon was very mild and perfectly cooked and very tasty. Cubano sandwich is a very interesting version of this dish. It was very very good. Cant wait to go back here and try some of the varied and interesting sounding choices. Great service, too. Thank you.

Driving through town heading to a basketball game. Reviews on Trip Advisor drove us here and we were not disappointed. Our waitress was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Two in our party did fried chicken and two did pizza. All outstanding.
