Mrs Pena was working hard and all the tables were full. We were able to sit down simply because someone was leaving when we walked in.If you are in a hurry, don't stop at Pena's; but, if you want an amazing meal (we stopped for breakfast) and have the time to enjoy your meal, Pena's is a must.Very clean, great service, excellent food! Mrs. Pena clearly loves serving others....

A middle of the road restaurant with middle of the road food. However, if your waiter tells you that the restaurant makes its own soda and then when you get the bottle and read the label and then wonder "how in the world does Illinois own this restaurant", just don't bother asking. It'll boggle the mind contemplating the response.

CORNERSTONE BAKERY CAFE has quickly become a Ruidoso New Mexico Favorite Restaurant as well as a sought out and much anticipated eating tradition for many of our Village's visitors! We thank all of our friends and customers who regularly support us and co
Our last morning in Ruidosa found us stopping here for breakfast. Why, oh why, did we not come sooner. Such a delicious breakfast, with so many choices! The Thunderbolt coffee was so good, we bought some to take home. The Alamagordo Omelette was delicious & packed full of goodness. The Santa Fe quiche (in phyllo dough) was also yummy. Just a hint of jalapeno added a bit of a punch. The manager (owner??) came by several times to see how everything was, and our server was friendly & attentive - she made sure our coffee cups were never empty!. The restaurant is open & welcoming with wonderful historical photos on the wall. They have a good selection of high quality gifts for sale. In addition to being a eater, the place is a bakery. I'm not sure how we did it, but we avoided buying any of the delicious looking pastries, pies & cookies on display. Had a moment of strong will power, I guess. They also have a case of frozen items for sale so you can bake their cookies, etc. in the comfort of your own home. Wonderful place for breakfast & I'm sure their lunches are equally good. Highly recommend. Thanks for posting here and on Yelp. We greatly appreciate the support and look forward to serving you again soon.

The original portion of The Texas Club, built in the 1960's, started out as a private residence. In the early 70's it was purchased by Dale Robertson, an American actor best known for his starring roles in early television. He played Jim Hardie in "Tales
Not having been to the Texas Club in many years, it was great to enjoy a most delicious steak dinner. The service was good and the sides were above average, but the steak wS scrumptious! The location and steak warrant a top rating for this restaurant.

We've moved. 2825 Sudderth Dr. Tina's Cafe is UNIQUE In Ruidoso. Tina's New Mexican style cuisine features delicious and unique sauces made from New Mexican Chiles. Our GREEN CHILE CREAM SAUCE is a true delight. Care for some HEAT. Have some RED SAUCE and
We have eaten at Tinaâs quite a few times, always getting something different, and often choosing one of the daily specials. We have never been disappointed. From light shrimp salad to hearty beef stew, the food is absolutely delicious. The ingredients are fresh and the recipes are tasty. Her hamburgers and fries are the best in town. Sheâs also known for her tasty desserts, but we havenât tried them. Sometimes thereâs a wait because everything is obviously cooked fresh to order, but the surroundings are pleasant and the wait is worth it.

Since last review almost 3-years ago, tremendous improvement on food - easily top-2 dining opportunities in South Central N.M; plus, their service is so nice - attentive folks who really pamper you. Try their special seafood-buffet ... itâs far superior to Inn of Mountain Gods. Poolside food/beverage service is a real treat too. As far as catering to their customers/members, they have 4-dining venues. 99+% clubs are closed Mondays, giving no food/beverage access on Mondays. However, these folks stagger their dining rooms so as to make sure there are choices available 7-days/week. Donât see that kind of thoughtfulness much anymore. All-in-all, a VERY well-run operation offering excellent dining/beverage/entertaining for their customers. BooRah. Well done.

This burger place is awesome! They have a great variety of burger (and non-burger) options and their burgers are so flavorful. They even got my bread-free burger appropriately "lettuce-wrapped" (no knife or fork needed). As good as the burger was, the onion rings were even better. Big and crispy and perfectly fried. I will be back!

Four adults, two had eggs Benedict, muffins had been burned and scraped and were tuff as a boot. Both were serve with grits so cold they wouldnât melt butter.3rd person had eggs bacon pancakes. Top pancake was burned. Waitress said sorry. Cashier said maybe it will be better next time. Donât have to worry bout that, we will be eating next time at either Penaâs or the Alto Cafe. Both had excellent breakfast, less expensive and They Gave A Damn

For over 30 years, folks have been stepping back into the legendary era of the Great American Cowboy at the Flying J Ranch. We invite you to experience an evening of great chuck wagon cooking and western music much like cowboys would have enjoyed after a
We enjoyed the process of getting our food dished out onto metal plates - and having seconds available- but the beans were super cold, the meat didn't have a lot of flavor, and chicken seemed preformed rather than fresh. But you don't go to the Flying J for food- you go for the music experience, which is super!!
