A Mexican and Pizza joint named after a Greek and run by a bunch of Minnezotanz! Located in Alexandria, MN on Lake Le Homme Dieu.
Met with family for the NDSU Bison game. Had some beef burritos with queso. They were delicious. Food is always good. Atmosphere is always good.

The Tuesday Burger special is great. The burgers are juicy and there are so many to choose from. The fries are tasty too. You wonât walk away hungry and thatâs for sure itâs a big portion.

We were visiting my mother and father in law and they recommended going to this restaurant for a great breakfast! This place was very busy with good reason! The food and the great food and staff! My husband ordered 3 poached eggs, sausage links and hash browns, my mother in law ordered the western omelet with English muffin toast and my father in law had eggs with sausage patties and toast, I ordered 2 blueberry pancakes with sausage links, I had 1 pancake and my husband said he would have the 2nd one! Our food came out quickly and I about fell off my chair when I saw the portion sizes of my food, my pancakes spilled over the plate, holy cow! But it was so good! The pancakes had a great flavor and they were light not heavy! The sausage links were so good, it wasnât the traditional little skinny links these were meaty and packed with taste! The hash browns were done perfectly, crispy out but soft and yummy inside! Our waitress was a doll! I canât remember her name because I think I was still recovering from the portion sizes of our food, but she had this beautiful tattoo on her right arm and she was funny and kind. The four of us had huge meals plus juice and our bill was under 40.00. Not bad in todayâs market! If you get up one lazy Saturday or Sunday and donât wanna cook, go to the Coffee Pot and be amazed!

I was visiting some friends up in Alexandria, and while they slept in I snuck out for breakfast. Thanks to Yelp, I found this place and it was standing room only when I arrived. thankfully there was a spot at the counter, so i sat down, looked over the menu and settled on the Scrambler($8) which was scrambled eggs with veggies and cheese, hash browns, toast and 3 strips of bacon. The toast may have been slight over cooked but everything was fantastic. It seemed to be family run with a mother and daughters running the front of the house. Service was fantastic, great food, full of locals, not flashy, just good traditional food. I'd go back if in Alex!

We've been faithful customers of dmb's for years. We love most of their dishes and meals. But we're beginning to see small changes. The menus are beginning to become tattered and frayed. Hard to keep clean and free of grease and finger prints! One of my favorite dishes is the cobb salad. But while I still love them, they've changed...the cold ground bacon with gristle is gross. My wife's Taco salad was awesome! Tidy up a bit...ditch the crappy bacon and print some new menus. Thank you for your comments. We are currently working on a new menu and it should be out early fall. We will most definitely look into the bacon as food items/vendors do change over the years. Thank you for choosing D. Michael B's.

Great Staff and fun and yummy food and a fun atmosphere. I love going here for happy hour after work. I like that it is not too big. Also the owner is a great person and really knows how to bring cool food items to our town.

The chicken wild rice soup is excellent. We order it every time we come here. In fact, itâs so good, that we tolerate the rest of the menu, which ranges from good to âwhy did I order this?âLast nightâs (8/12/19) daily special, Spaghetti & Meatballs, was the worst Iâve ever had. The meatballs are not made on-site. They were factory-made, frozen, tough, and weirdly spiced. The sauce that came with them was bitter. The whole dish was put under a broiler to melt âa bitâ of âParmesan-likeâ cheese. Honest: Stoufferâs makes better pasta.Service is good and the ambience is nice. Iâll go back. For the soup.

This is a special, chef owned restaurant and I have enjoyed eating here at least a dozen times. And then again, it is hit or miss. We were there the other night and my friend ordered the lamb and itâs not what he expected it to be. It was shredded meat and really just so-so. My pad Thai with spaghetti squash was better. The last time I ate here I had a steak which was great. But the time before, my friend had ordered the duck and it was cold and bloody. Another time I had the chicken ratatouille and the chicken breast was sitting on top of a pot of root vegetables which were very flavorless and the chicken was very over done and dry.The service is always good, and I like their wine list. The ambience is OK â too well lit â and the chairs are not terribly comfortable and thereâs not a lot of privacy so I have had diners next to me listen to our entire conversation even when I keep my voice very low. The food can be really good. Or not. The prices are too high for it not to be good every time.
