Chili cheese dog was average to anywhere else. My onion rings were cold. My husband said they over cooked his hamburger steak. The waitress forgot to bring his toast and he was almost finished with his meal when she brought it. Sweet tea was good. Decided not to try the ice cream and left. This was our first and possibly the last visit.

The food was good and the service as well. Like all such places in the US you MUST go there by car, even though our hotell was 300 meters away. But all in all it was a nice experience.
Wonderful food and great staff. Nice atmosphere and even better prices . For a family it Is great because it is quick and convenient and not to bad at breaking the bank. Highly recommendedThank you....we are all about family..
We're Always Cookin' There's something about a freshly made meal, prepared just for you. Maybe it's a waffle sundae to celebrate the day you get your braces off, or a plate full of loaded hash browns after a Saturday morning soccer game. Whatever the occa
Its nice to be able to grab something to eat when travling late at night. This is a typical multi category menu, similar to Waffle House, somewhat more limited than IHOP. Prices are high, but not outrageuos. Hamburger was slightly greasy and the onions were fried, not raw, adding to the wetness of the burger. Fries were skinny & oil soaked, not crunchy. The food is OK The service is good, ample parking, clean restaurant & bathroom facilities,

While traveling, we (party of four-two couples) were in this area and looking for dinner. Based on TA reviews and the online menu (everyone was craving steak) we chose Jakes's. We were initially skeptical, upon arriving early for dinner and seeing NO ONE in the restaurant but decided to risk it. We were served by Rochelle (Rachelle?) and were well taken care of. She gave practical advice on sides, appetizers, and desserts and didn't try to just "up sell" or push items she didn't think we would like. We shared an order of fried green beans and table bread/butter was provided.Everyone got Jake's Ribeye and all were great. The sides of broccoli and cole slaw were not great but overall this was a great meal. We shared key lime and peanut butter pie desserts.DEFINITELY would be go back if I was in the area-anxious to try the burgers!

This is a casual deli place for breakfast and lunch. We always find the food excellent and enjoyable. Our most recent lunch was hamburgers with French fries and it was scrumptious! The portions are substantial and some people split a meal as the servings are certainly.y ample servings. You want be disappointed!

Feeding the carp and turtles was fun. Food was average- catfish tacos okay, but not what I was expecting. Catfish poor boy, one tiny filet between two large pieces of bread, Mac and cheese good. Okay experience, but was expecting so much more.

We almost gave up because at 6:30 on a Friday night the parking lot of the Roses strip mall looked barren. But we found it tucked away in the corner and most people parked in the back. So the BBQ was excellent and they served up our food fast. We were a bit disappointed that we had seen chopped chicken on their menu somewhere online but they said they only have fried chicken. I had a BBQ sandwich and fries. Sandwich was good and fries were ok. My daughter had a BBQ plate and they still had vegetable sides from lunch so she had corn and green beans.

We enjoy going to the "Who's" for a quick supper. Breakfast is served all day so when we are in the mood for that its good. The turkey sandwich and the hamburgers are really good. I also enjoy the grilled chicken salad

Rising out of the hilltop, the 200-seat SpringHouse Restaurant will treat diners to a local cuisine served in rustic, casual elegance. The first architectural element guests will see as they enter the main dining room is the inglenook-a large fully-functi
First off, we are lucky to arrive by boat to SpringHouse on Lake Martin. The restaurant sends a golf cart down to the dock to deliver you to the restaurant. We like going early so you can see the beautiful sunset, so our reservation was at 5:30. We were seated promptly and greeted by our server Caleb. Daniel provided advice for a good bottle of wine for our dinner. Warm sourdough bread to start along with a couple of appetizers...pimento cheese stuffed peppadew peppers along with Chilton County Peach and heirloom tomatoes. Yum!My wife always orders Mr. Jim's Vegetable plate which is probably the most expensive vegetable plate you will ever enjoy but its worth every penny...Squash Au Gratin, corn bread, yummy creamed corn, and the pool hall slaw is amazing. We also enjoyed the Tuna and the Red Snapper was perfectly prepared.Blue Cobbler for desert and then off to pictures on the side yard with the gorgeous sunset. Thanks SpringHouse for another great meal!!
