Bahati Villa is a restaurant in Kiwengwa quite near the beach. It's an Amazing place, very relaxed, with soft music and wifi free. Our chef prepare a lot of kind of meals mixing italian and african taste and some food is home made like bread, breadsticks,
uninspired food - expensive - only nice thing is to sit there during the day and watch the ocean. Tuna overcooked, Crab Pasta almost tasteless. Waited foreverGood morning Mr. MiracolimucFood not good, expensive, overcooked tuna, tasteless crab paste, too much waiting ....... We're sorry about all this, but ....... It seems that his dishes are all back empty, without food leftovers, in the case during the wait, which did not seem at all long, we offered a splendid view ... ..

Beachside restaurant with African atmosphere and fresh food.
We were so pleased to find this restaurant! We stayed at the Samaki resort just up the beach and were disappointed with the lack of fresh seafood on their menu. We ended up eating everyday at Sai Marce and loved it! Friendly staff, fantastic seafood and great views. Everything is cooked from scratch so give 1-1.5hr for food to be prepared! Recommend the mixed sea food grill and the avocado salad!

We were there for two days for lunch and dinner and we ate very good without spending so much. Prices are right but the difference from other restaurants is the quality, at zan view you eat high quality, service is very nice. You must try pizza

Servers were all great, kept coming back because it was so much easier than dealing with the sumptuous buffets at our resort- best burger I had in the whole two weeks and good steak, smoothies too- quick (surprisingly for Tanzania) and friendly, say hi to the servers Hamid (?) and Ivan, tell them Josh from the US sent you... run by Italians and they are really trying, good bathrooms with (also surprisingly for Tanzania) paper towels (or napkins)I wish they had a bigger menu, you get the feeling that there are more dishes they could do a good job with
we went for dinner from Pongwe to this little restaurant and we did not know what to expect since our driver (the husband of the owner of th restaurant) stopped somewhere in the middle of the road (i guess at his home) to pick some bread most likely (amazing i have to say) and then arrived somewhere in the middle of the dark with no lights at all! Then he turned the light and we were surprised to find out we were the only guests in the restaurant. The place was really clean and well maintained. Food was awesome and prepared a la cart, and the quantity-quality amazing. Overall, slightly overpriced for the location and ambiance of the place but the seafood was worth it 100%. Convenient as well, the fact that you can arrange directly with them hotel pick up, since it is almost impossible to find this place on your own. Recommended for seafood lovers.
Ate here tonight with my family, including my two children 12 and 13. The restaurant is smart ans spacious, the staff are very good and the food is absolutely superb (reminded me of Italy!!!) Reasonable selection, all freshly cooked to order. Good chef, good portions and good value also.I will return

The inspiration for our menu was the zanzibarian kitchen - an unusual blend of African, Arab and Indian tastes, based on fresh local ingredients (spices, fish, octopus, fruits). Local recipes combined with the European way of serving. Our menu includes ve
We entered the resort as guests for the Swahili dinner which is served on Sunday nights. A good value at $20 per adult and $10 per child - the buffet starts with urojo , a traditional soup followed by a range of specialties - octopus curry, red beans, flavored rice, white beans, fried cassava and potato, as well as a grilled fish. Also comes with a dessert- which was fried dough with a cardamom and cinnamon sauce. Drinks are reasonable as well with a choice of wines by glass, beers and cocktails. Service is very friendly and you are made to feel very welcome. Dear Guest,Thank you for your opinion. We are glad to know you enjoyed our food. Now, beside the Swahili buffet on every Sunday, we have a BBQ dinner every Wednesday with a wide range of grilled meat and seafood, such as tuna, kingfish, shrimps, squid.Marafiki Restaurant has also extended its menu by adding sushi.Looking forward to see you again!

Beach bar and restaurant offers you local and italian breakfast, lunch, happy hours and dinner in front of the ocean. You can find also a kitesurf school "JungleKite" with professional instructors, a fun shop and a diving center.
we chose this bar restaurant mainly because of the roof-top providing a good shelter from the beach boys along with a good view from the ground. food was nice, only the sea food carbonara seamed somehow ...strange, but everything else was nice. kind staff and good shade during the afternoon.
