This place is horrible. Went there for a business meeting and was shocked at the state of the place. It's cracking everywhere and looks like maintenance hadn't been done in centuries. The female toilets are a health hazard, thinking of calling the health inspector for that. There is fungi growing there. The place doesn't cater for people with specific dietary requirements and service is poor. There is even a scrap yard on the premises. A no no for me!

We had Heard a lot about carnivore and the ability to try many game meats at one time such as kudo and antelope. We love Brazilian steakhouses so we’re ‘game’ to try Carnivore. We were two people so we were ignored because if the larger parties. All the meats were passed once in very quick succession and then they stopped bringing them to our section of the restaurant. The carrot soup was fabulous. The chocolate mousse was good too. My daughter loved the impala, kudo sausage and venison samosa best. I liked the pork ribs. I am not an adventurous eater but I did not like the beef or chicken because they were very dry. The wirelist says champagne is available by the glass but I was told I could not have one because they had to open a whole bottle. The Pinot Noir they served me tasted spoiled but they did not return it. My daughter enjoyed this overpriced experience. Our first taste of Africa was at the Chef Boma restaurant. It was a buffet style, helping yourself to sale type starters then onto the star of the show. Chefs were stationed ready to cook whichever meats you chose. Chicken and steak were available but so was native meat. Delicious. Get your meat cooked first and then get your accompanying veg otherwise your side dishes are cold. If you have room, there's a variety of desserts.Whist we ate, there was a live band on. A great evening.Thank you for the wonderful feedback. We are thrilled that you enjoyed your experience with us and will certainly pass your kind comments on to the teamHope you enjoyed the remainder of your trip and look forward to welcoming you back in the not too distant future Yours in Hospitality Sharon HuninkGroup Marketing & Sales Manager

Laurentina

Been a big fan of Laurentina since the opening. And a return customer every second week. With many goods and once in a while some acceptable beds.Had some hit dishes like Bachalau a Bras, chicken curry and grilled shrimps (shame that Ciro s has closed) in Fourways area. Most of the times way better than the one in HartbeespoortReturned after two months, the restaurant completely changed. Unexperienced manager and staff (where are your star waiters????) and food quality close to nil.No spices in any dish (salt and pepper..nothing else) and my bachalau a bras just scrambled eggs with some raw onion and tracks of fish and egg shells .Dear owners, please save the only good restaurant in Cedar Square!!! PLEASE
