Things to do in Alberton
Supposedly a local favourite. Second time round for me having to meet a Business colleague in the South of Johannesburg. Tucked away, this is a diplomatic description, behind the main McDonalds in Clinton Road New Redruth Alberton. Very, very average, staff was pathetically slow, Cappuccino was OK, menue was average. Deeply disappointed with what Alberton has to offer. Not even remotely comparable to the minimum Standards for Coffee Shops in and around Johannesburg.

As a vegetarian, I have found it challenging to find delicious and nutritious vegetarian dishes recently. At Little Addis, my heart was singing with joy. Along with veggies, there was much good protein sources, too. We loved our dinner. The portion was huge. The food was so tasty and fresh. Though bellies were full, we could not stop eating. The service was delightful. Thanks to the warm water provided for washing hands before and after. We ate outside which made for fun people watching and also the need to be mindful. The icing on the cake was when Kassa, the restaurant's owner and amazing cook came out to see how we were doing. He shared a bit about the history of the restaurant. It was clear that he loved what he was doing.

This restaurant is located in the heart of the city of Johannesburg. It has a unique ambience with lots of interesting signs hanging all around. Customer service is extremely friendly and courteous. Food menu appears decent with a variety of options to choose. Taste of food items was unique. Pricing was affordable making it a great value for money. This is a hidden gem of a restaurant.
