A mix of pros and cons

While the staff was pleasant and the waitresses and help staff were really nice and helped a lot the overall feeling of the place is that is a little outdated. There is no room temperature regulation so if you are visiting with a small baby (under 6 months)i would not recommend it cause the first night we froze while the next morning when we woke up the radiator was at full power. We strictly told them we are with a small baby and they gave us a room that was located beyond 2 flights of stairs so it was a real problem with the stroller. They didn`t tell us the pool was being renovated so we woke up to the sound of a construction site at 8 am (mind you, we have 4month old). Its great to visit because of the food the staff (they were really great) and scenery but it really needs renovations and an upgrade to the rooms. p.s The deer reserve were really cool, you can feed them for a small fee of 2 euros

The best short vacation
Reviewed By Alexxxxxx989I stayed there for 2 nights with my husband and we loved it! Delicious food in their restaurant, spacious room, kind staff... all in all great experience. They have spa and gym but we only used the jacuzzi because we had it included in our stay.

Reviewed By Lica KVery cozy family house with rooms, studios and apartments, nice yard with bbq, chilling area,children playground and parking. Very clean. The apartments are spacious, there is kitchen and dining table, and there is also a community kitchen in the house, with several dining tables, beautiful view of the yard, equiped with oven an amenities for everything that you will need beside the small kitchen in the apartments. The hosts are very, very helpful, polite and friendly. The Berovo lake is very near, 5 minute walk. Overall a great stay, will visit it in summer also. Quiet, peaceful surrounding, a rest for body and soul. We were traveling with a 2 year old child, and felt very welcomed by the hosts, who met our every need that occured when traveling with a child. Would definitely recommend it!

Great food, wonderful landscapes, excellent room for reasonable price
Reviewed By Maja LI stayed in Aurora resort for 2 nights, the resort is big and has different paths with wonderful landscapes. The price is reasonable. The food is very delicious, their chef was coming out after lunch and ask us if everything was good, which left a special impression on me, as I was already thinking after the first meal that I should go inside the kitchen and say my gratitude to him, for his great skills, especially because I was on diet given by mine nutritionist and worrying what I will eat. The mix of ingredients that the chef has in his dishes was exactly as recommended by my nutritionist and that makes me happy. The rooms are very big and comfortable, it feels like you have your own house in the mountain, the matrix is comfortable and I slept very well. Winter clothes are needed for outside only, inside the hotel everywhere is warm or even hot in the rooms. The view from the infinity pool was amazing, I enjoyed relaxing there and catching a tan, watching the sunrise with the morning coffee, or reading a book. I have not to use the inside pool and can't comment on that. Only the morning shift in the restaurant was not very quick in the service. Between the guests there was a couple with kids, there was not any noise except kids laughing at the playground. I have not used the inside pool and can't comment on that.

Won't go back for sure
Reviewed By Kristina PWhen we got there there was construction work in progress. We asked a couple of times when they were going to finish and were told in 15min, in an hour, in two hours. Four hours later, we started arguing with the owner since we went on a long weekend to relax and not to be smothered in dust and noise, they stopped and said they wouldn't work for the time we were going to be there. That was a lie. When we complained again the owner told us we were the only guests the construction work bothered?? The rooms were ok but there was no curtains so as soon the sun was up I was up as well. The kitchen is ok sized if everyone is cooking at different times. And don't leave drinks in the joint fridge because they go missing.
