We arrived on a Monday night - first timers... not sure what to expect but all in all it was a great lively place serving good food at good prices. Not one of the outrageous steak houses that seem to be popular in the area. Servers were very efficient and pleasant. Wine list good and reasonable. We wandered into the bar area after dinner and of course it was an older set of people all having a really a good time. Nothing I wouldn't expect for the area. The owners are present and very very pleasant.. great job and keep it up!

This place is amazing!! Right away as you walk in you have to walk past and insane amount of cookies, cakes, muffins, and more that make you want to maybe skip eating lunch and just get desert! After you pick your mouth up from wanting to devour all the baked goods you have a varies amount of sandwiches to choose from. All the sandwiches have so many options on them as well and such funny names. You can tell by the names of what your ordering the business has a sense of humor. While your trying to figure out what to eat your assisted by a vary animated man who helps you figure out what you want, any substitutions or requests they are on it. I have a wheat allergy and they offered to make any sandwich a salad or put it on a gluten free bread. There gluten free bread is by far the best bread I have ever had. All the others in my group each had a different home made bread they all said they were the best they have had before. The group that works there you can tell they all love the product and what they do, they were all so nice and helpful and full of energy!! I loved my experience there and would never pass this town and not stop here!

From the moment you approach the Cliffhouse you are surrounded by the dramatic sights and sounds of this desert destination. Jutting from a massive rock outcropping above the desert floor the Cliffhouse is renowned for its spectacular views across the valley and providing a lively, casual destination to enjoy a menu of American classics with innovative preparations focused on premium steaks and seafood at great prices. The historic ranch house ambiance complete with a massive fireplace, expansive windows and rustic beamed ceilings creates a warm welcoming environment from which to gaze at the magnificent mountains, share a meal and conversation and stay awhile. The menu highlights vibrant flavors from the valley along with a generous selection of fresh fish and seafood. The wine list has been thoughtfully chosen to complement the food and provide reasonably priced selections including rare and limited bottles.
This was a special dinner for us. Complementary valet parking and a visually interesting structure/waterfall display. Reservations are recommended and the sunset is popular. We had salmon, ribeye and scallops. All were amazing. We were easily done in under an hour from driving on the property. Attire was casual but people had made an effort--resort casual with heels for example. Expect $40-50 per person but worth it given the food quality and artful prep.

6 of us enjoyed the goulash and stuffed cabbage. Their large menu includes Italians and fish dishes but we went Hungarian and were not disappointed. Pretty good, reasonably priced wine selection. Entrees are large! And very enjoyable. Start with their large salad for the table. Pretty busy place so make reservation.

Just Java is known for the best gourmet coffee and pastry products in the valley. We offer bagels, breakfast sandwiches, and fruit smoothies.
My husband and I have been coming here for three winters. It has everything a great coffee shop should have. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The coffee is excellent. They have a wide selection of tasty pastries and a super veggie bagel sandwich. It is made to order with a toasted bagel of your choice with a smear of cream cheese topped with tomato, cucumber and avocado. It comes with a side of fruit-banana, pineapple, grapes, cantaloupe, strawberry, raspberry and a blackberry. All the veggies and fruit as very fresh and perfect. They have a good amount of seating indoors and outside. Hats off to the staff at Just Java.

Small, charming indoor/outdoor French cafe serving authentic, affordable entrées for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Large, diverse menu with emphasis on quality and freshness.
We went here with another couple for dinner and we all thought it was very good. My husband and I each had their French onion soup and 2 different versions of filet of soul. Delicious (although trying to cut calories there was AMPLE butter floating in my plate)! The menu is quite nice with many wonderful choices and temptations! The restaurant is a bakery so it is quite tight in seating but not so tight to be a turn off, just something to be aware of. Reservations highly suggested! The wine list is limited but has a very good selection. The other couple has been here numerous times for lunch, which they enjoy, but were more
delighted at the dinner menu. Each of them had a salad (which could easily be shared) and pasta. She had a half order, he had a full order but could only eat half! Prices are reasonable. In a fancier place, they would be higher. Unfortunately we didn't have dessert but I'm sure the pastries must be out of this world. The location is odd for fine dining but because of that, night time parking is excellent.

There is ample outdoor seating at this restaurant, some in the open, others shaded by umbrellas. My wife and I both had waffles with various accompaniments. The waffles were quite good. We also both preferred the homemade strawberry topping and whipped cream vs. peaches with cinnamon or maple syrup. Service was good, as well. We will be back.

We have eaten at the Palm Desert Pueblo Viejo Grill many times and thought we would give the original place a try. If you go get their early as this place is relatively small and gets packed. This is a testament to the great tasting food they serve. There is adequate parking next to the restaurant. The servers are polite and work with you to help choose the menu item that fits your needs. They have a full service bar and cold beer on tap and in the bottle.
