The average tourist would probably walk right past this place but that would be a mistake. We were noticed the Tripadvisor sticker in the window and decided to try it for lunch.
We were the only tourists and, although no-one spoke English, we made ourselves understood. The staff were helpful and friendly. I'm sure they went and got the tea we asked for from a nearby tea shop. The food was simple but very good - meatballs and salad with lots of bread followed by some fruit.

We had lunch here after hopping off the bus and the pide/pizza and soup were tasty and good value. Nothing really special but its a decent place and they allowed us leave our bags while we headed off to Pergamon so they are very helpful and worth supporting.

My son and I had just spent a few hours wandering the Acropolis just up the hill and were driving back into town hungry, to grab some lunch. Saw a blackboard menu in English outside a funky looking cafe/bistro and stopped to look. We ordered...MoreThank you for kindly comment . Our Turkish Ravioli is homemade and we are happy you like that. You stayed short time and we are waiting again. Best Regards Ufuk

Amazing "çığırtma", yoghurt, desert, breads...I am sort of vegetarian, so I did not really try the meatballs but I would definitely travel all the way from Ankara again just to visit this restaurant. The staff is super friendly and helpful too. Highly recommended!

If you are looking for a nice and relaxed turkish dinner, this is the best place in Bergama. The owners are very friendly, the restaurant is clean and the food was perfect! You should try the Güveç with rice. Soups and the grilled beef are also very good...enjoy!

You can taste delicious local food and top quality local wines at "KYBELE" restaurant. View of Red Hall and Akropolis from our garden would be a memorable time with your family.
We came across the is hotel/restaurant by accident. The proprieters mother nabbed us in the street, but what a result.
A beautiful place, and a fantastic selection of quality food and drink on offer. Everything was explained, where the produce came from and how it was selected.
The service and ambience was top drawer. A perfect evenings experience.
You will not be dissapointed

A Wonderful selection of perfectly prepared home cooked food, tasteful and well presented. The staff were friendly and service was efficient. The dessert was out of the ordinary and most enjoyable. It's a tiny restaurant, catering mainly for locals. The food is typical Turkish. This was a very good choice an the place can definitely be recommended.

Kömürde Bergama köfte ve izgara Çeşitleri
Inside warm 'n soft interior, portions are large, and prices are fair. The steaks get a glorious char, and the meat ball list offers 2 tradional forms; one called Kasap Köfte and the other one Bergama Köfte represents the town in Turkish cuisine. Just give a short brake during your Bergama visit at Efe Restaurant.
Bon Appétit
