This place was perfect. It's in the middle of nowhere, it has a bar, restaurant, and hotel. It's close to rickets glen park. People were nice. Beautiful scenery.

Went for dinner, Monday night special was Chicken and Waffles, all you can eat. This is the northern version, not a waffle and fried chicken. Chicken in gravy, served over a waffle. Very generous serving with sides, plus all you want of chicken and waffle. If you leave hungry, it is your own fault. Different specials every night, and great prices. Who would cook if you had this every night?

Enjoyed the ice cream treats here last week. The soft serve ice cream is very creamy and flavorful. Hard ice cream is also served as well as a very good frozen yogurt, regular and sugar free. This yogurt is so creamy that's it's practically indistinguishable from real ice cream. I have some some frozen yogurt haters in my family and when given a taste they argued that they were eating regular ice cream! The serving sizes are not skimpy. A small cone here compares to a medium at other ice cream stands, and prices are very reasonable too. The only downside to this stand is the parking. It's hard to get in and out of their lot at peak times and you can get parked in by other customers, but all in all worth the trip.

This pizza shop has been around since I can remember. I have never had a bad meal! We order take out from here a lot, but have eaten in a couple of times. Nice friendly service.

We went to Old Tioga Farm with friends and it felt as if we were dining at the home of another close friend. Dillon and Justin welcomed everyone who attended warmly. Justin, who is the chef, opened the bottles of wine himself. From start to finish, the food was scrumptious and expertly prepared from their own gardens or other local farms and businesses. We were particularly fond of the bread and pasta. So fresh! Seatings are limited and book quickly so if you get the chance to go, don't hesitate.

Love this little eatery in Benton, PA. My niece lives there so it was our second time eating. We all enjoyed our breakfasts, but the Eggs Benedict were maybe the best I ever had. Eggs done perfectly which is one of my necessary criteria, perfect Hollandaise and English Muffins toasted to perfection. Made complete with perfect Hash Browns which I loved. Very pleasant atmosphere and friendly, kind service. We made reservations for Sunday morning after church as they are very busy. You might not expect such a great little restaurant in a small town in Central PA but check it out!!!!

We were quite impressed with the food quality. My wife thought the crab cakes were wonderful (surprising in the middle of NE PA); the Cowboy Chicken and pirogies were also great! Decor is nothing special, but service was friendly and the food did not disappoint. Definitely recommend.

We stopped by the Red Rock Scoop for ice cream while staying at Rickett's Glen State Park. So many frozen treats to choose from including cones, floats, and banana splits. Portions were generous and prices were really reasonable. The menu had a good variety of hot items too.

We serve top quality sirloin & chicken cheesesteaks – no minute steaks here. Our wings are never breaded; our sauces are homemade daily, as are our fresh-cut fries and chips. Try our homemade specialties - dry-rubbed and marinated pulled pork, homemade chicken poppers, or beef and chicken meatballs served marinara or buffalo style, all served on a 10 inch Philadelphia Amoroso roll. We serve fresh food in a casual, friendly environment. Dine in, enjoy our picnic tables outside or take out. Dog friendly - bring your pooch, order in and dine outside at our picnic tables. All food is cooked to order in our open kitchen. Open for breakfast Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday - fast and fresh!
Visiting Ricketts Glen we stopped here for a quick bite to take back to our cabin. We split a cheesesteak and order of wings. The cheese-steak sandwich was great. The meat was tender, and delicious. I liked that they had different options for the cheese, such as whiz. Bread and everything, it was great.
The wings themselves were great. Perfectly fried and good size with the right amount of meat on the bones. We got the mild sauce as wasn't sure if my stomach that day could have done hot. It was fine. A little on the sweet side and I wished for some more heat. I wish they would have had a medium sauce to try.
Overall we really enjoyed our food and was a great choice. Would eat there again.
