Haven of peace
Reviewed By mvdnCotonou can be a bit of a noisy, dusty, polluted place. The Cocotiers is an excellent option if you need a place to spend a couple of nights in Cotonou. It is located in the most luxurious part of town, which is near the airport (don't worry: with max 3 flights a day you won't be bothered by noice). Upmarket restaurants in walking distance. Rooms basic and clean, nice sitting area, wifi works. Only drawback is that they don't have a bar.... Breakfast is good.

Cute Place in Abomey
Reviewed By Michael KNice place to camp in Abomey to explore around (there are rooms as well of course). Its not super close to the centre of town, but moto-taxi's are cheap enough to get anywhere. Friendly staff with manageable English. I was able to meet a local guide, Victorien Ahonha, there. He speaks great English and Spanish, and is very knowledgeable in Abomey, its history and culture. very special remote place
Reviewed By Christiane KWe had some trouble finding the place, but nice moto taxi drivers were finally able to bring us to the place which lays way off the main road. (We found it on goolge maps or maps me) We loved the place! It is very remote and of course the maintenance could be better (pool not working..), but since Alfred (an older special german expat :D ) is on his own I think it's impressive how he handles everything. He was sick and still cooked delicious food for us. Since we've been there in the rainy season we didn't see a lot of animals except for baboon and gazelles, but still it was an adventurous and private safari. If you see the animals in the dry season than there probably isn't a cheaper option for a safari anywhere. The Pendjari Park becomes less visited every year so I recommend supporting the tourism there and check it out, it is worth the way! (We've been there in August 2017, but I always forgot to write the review)

Magnifique ! Paix joie et acceuil fraternel
Reviewed By SabinetareineJe suis passée dans ce centre suite à la recommandation de mon frère mais j'ai été agréablement surprise par l'accueil, la gentillesse, l'attention fraternelle du personnel. Une grande maison aérée avec des grands chambres aménagées et climées où on sent l'amour du Christ dans les regards , la bienveillance. On mange bien et tout est propre. C'est comme à la maison, rien ne vous manque. Qu'elle tristesse d'être obligée de partir !!! Ce n'est que partie remise.. je reviendrai vite
