Very poor customer service. Foods was served ice cold and the reason given was no electricity. Service Staff and Floor Manager do not explain. They demand to pay your bill in full. I think people who planning to visit this restaurant should totally avoid it. Most disgraceful restaruant in the whole philippines.
We saw a post on Facebook about this place and we were nearby in Pico on our last night before flying home. We decided to stop by and give it a try and we were glad we did. Tucked back near the strawberry farms, never would I have expected such an amazing sushi place in La Trinidad. The menu is very extensive, including ramen, sukiyaki, and a wide variety of sushi, sashimi, and Maki.We ordered some chicken ramen, California Maki, Crunchy roll, Maguro Shaki roll, and Rock and Roll Maki. The chicken ramen was very tasty with a miso base. The Maki rolls were incredible. The presentation was fantastic, as you can see in the pictures, it was so nice to see such an attention to detail. It was the type of presentation I would expect in Tokyo or a major city in the US or Canada, it was a wonderfully pleasant surprise in the strawberry farms of La Trinidad! And they taste every bit as good as they look. It was hard to pick a favorite, but I think the Maguro Shaki ended up the one I loved most. Even though we were already feeling full, we ordered another round of the Crunchy, Maguro Shaki and California rolls. Not that there was anything wrong with the Rock and Roll Maki, but we knew we couldn't eat that much! We ended up bringing a little bit home because we were all so completely and happily full! This place is absolutely wonderful and I really hope they have great success! They are a truly hidden gem and it is worth a trip to La Trinidad from Baguio!

One of the first restaurants in CAR to offer the rice topping menu, It was good to see them back after being absent for several years in the local resto business in Baguio and La Trinidad Benguet. Definitely popular among the locals. Try visiting one of their branches and see for yourself.

The food tasted better because we knew they were fresh and healthy. We tried the vegetable salads and the sandwiches with lots of greens and they were all good. Somehow, we didn't feel as guilty wolfing down that burger since we were also eating lots of greens with it ;).The salads were fresh and with lots of veggies. Since we've eaten a lot of healthy food, we wanted to reward ourselves with cakes. So we ordered a slice of everything they had. Sadly, the cakes fell short on taste. And they were crumbly - I really dislike crumbly cake. So the meal ended on a low note for me.But wait, they have a saving grace - they sell healthy breads that they themselves bake. So I was happy again to buy freshly baked yummy bread to take home!

I have to satisfy my craving for yogurt and I couldn't think of a better place than Calajo. Their yogurt is home made and it is not the commercial type one might find in a supermarket. It fits my taste buds and I believe most of those who have tasted will agree with me. The best of it all? Very competitive price! Piece of trivia- their yogurt( Yolo) is a favorite of one of the country's top speaker( motivational). Mind you, there are still plenty of food to satisfy one's hunger. Another favorite is their "polpog" it's pork chop with vinegar and pepper and some spices. Their serving is also very generous. If you happen to visit La Trinidad don't forget to include dropping by at Calajo in your itinerary.
