The Cabin Coffee House & Cafe is Bemidji's premier coffee house. Serving Peace Coffee and fresh, made from scratch, baked goods, daily. The Cafe has a broad range of options sure to delight, and all the sandwiches are served on bread baked at our very own bakery. The 4 Hippie Chics & A Dutch Girl bakery, located in our Cabin Uptown location, makes all of our bread, cookies, muffins and other delicacies from scratch - no frozen dough here!
Great coffee and scrumptious baked goods made onsite. This was a surprise we just happened on in Bemidji but they're only a couple blocks off the lake in a downtown side street. It's much better than the exterior leads one to believe:)

We decided to visit for breakfast after seeing some reviews on TripAdvisor. At the suggestion of a customer at another table we went over to the bakery counter and each picked out a donut to start. There were incredible choices (including one with German chocolate cake topping, one filled with jelly and whipped cream, one with Reese's cups and "s'mores" donut with chocolate and marshmallows) and after finally deciding I had a glazed Bismarck. It was light with delicious custard cream filling and a wonderful crispy, not sticky glaze. The best donut I can remember having in literally years. There is also a chocolate topped Bismarck. My husband had a coffee roll (like a cinnamon bun) which he said was great. Then, we split a meat and cheese omelet which was loaded with ham and topped with pepper jack cheese. Good coffee and service too. Given how wonderful the donut was I am sure the rest of the baked items are amazing too. Everything looked great. If you like donuts, this is absolutely worth a detour and if you live in the Bemidji area, lucky you. Thank you to the retired HS principal who not only recommended the donuts but treated us to them. We appreciate it and will pay it forward.

It's a bar/grill
Over the past 3 years I’ve eaten here numerous times and have tried most of the menu, especially all of the ones highlighted in the description. Have always had good food and service. The atmosphere is very nice and a very good beer selection!

Quaint, old fashioned style ice cream shoppe with 24 flavors of Super Premium ice cream available on a rotating basis. You can choose ice cream by the scoop, double scoop or triple scoop; ice cream sandwiches, sundaes and malts and shakes. Also available are gourmet popcorn, cheese corn and caramel corn along with cookies and nacho chips and seasoned cheese.
An ice cream shop on steriods with flavours unlike any that I have ever had (lemon poppyseed, carrot mango sorbet, This *@$^ just got serious, Zanzibar Chocolate, and many more). These flavours will set your tastebuds on fire and you will be making many trips back just to try all the flavours out! Love that you can get a Babe's Raft (3 mini scoops) or Paul's Canoe (5 mini scoops)! Never had ice cream like this and know that I will not ever again!

We went there for dinner. It was so good, we went back the next night. Very nice atmosphere, excellent, above and beyond service from Emily, food was outstanding. Very nice selection of Italian regional wines, server was very knowledgeable of them, allowed us to taste the wines they sell by the glass.

Met a friend here for coffee. By 10 am the pastry selection was very sparse. However the coffee was good and my friend enjoyed a blueberry muffin. There were a few rooms with tables and a rustic casual decor. There is free wifi, just ask for the password.

Looking for a light dinner, I spotted Big Apple Bagels so turned around and went back. I'm glad I did. I had a club sandwich on a Honey Oat bagel which was absolutely delicious. The bagel was even toasted! The sandwich was filling and the coffee I got was just delicious.
I got an Deep Dish Apple Pie giant muffin to go ... which I haven't eaten yet, but I'm sure it will be terrific as well.
What a great bagel shop!!

Ate here after checking out of my hotel on a Sunday to put off the long drive home as much as I could. We have several Dunn Bros in my home city, so I figured the coffee quality would be good, but my big surprise...MoreThanks Michael - especially about the service - we can get swamped in the summer sometimes and have short delays. Sounds like you were not in a hurry anyway!

We wanted to see the Paul Bunyan and Babe statues, and this place was right nearby. An Irish pub is always a draw for us. This one did not disappoint. The home made chips are delicious! We had the Reuben special and walleye sandwich, plus my husband also got the Irish whiskey mushroom soup. All were wonderful. Highly recommended!
