Reviewed By MDK1987ZHAbsolutely beautiful, nice and recommendable place! Very friendly staff, were able to do laundry there and it was done and folded in our rooms two hours later. The guys down at the restaurant make an extra effort to make sure you have all you need, and they have some good local beers to try out!

Family-run hotel, located in the center of Bellinzona, the Swiss town famous for the three medieval castles included in the UNESCO World Heritage list. Most of the 10 rooms have private bathroom, as well as balcony and TV. Breakfast is included and is served in the bar on the ground floor (Caffe della Posta). Free Wireless Internet. The hotel is located only 300 meters from the Bellinzona train station and 4 km from the A2 motorway exits of Bellinzona-South and Bellinzona-North. Prices (per night, per room, breakfast included): Single room (shared bathroom): CHF 60.- Single room with shower/WC: CHF 100.- Double room (shared bathroom): CHF 100.- Double room with shower/WC: CHF 130.-
Great option! a bit expensive for students
Reviewed By MAIA LUCIE RPros: Excellent location and very clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. Mattresses and pillows are super confortable. You share the bathroom but its very clean and big. The key dispenser system is great, you can get in and out anytime. Cons: it was a room with two individual beds, and a bunker bed. Perfect for a group of friends but too expensive for students. No possibility to leave bags after check out :( The last day, we had to carry the bags while visiting.

Better than adequate
Reviewed By jvlseattleClean, quiet and comfortable room. The wifi worked very well, and the password was clearly listed in the room. The hotel must have been remodelled since 2014 reviews as the bathroom was. very modern with a great shower. Also had working AC. Bed was very comfortable. Plenty of parking. A bit expensive, but not out of line as the price of just about everything in Switzerland was high.

Reviewed By Harold Msono stato già tre volte a Casa Ines e ci tornerò ancora a breve almeno un paio di volte, mi trovo molto bene, posto semplice, facile da raggiungere. Dispone di poche camere ma ben servite, in ognuna è presente un piccolo frigobar con consumazioni a pagamento, molto pulito e personale molto cordiale! si trova a due minuti di auto dal castello Montebello. Vicino a diverse opzioni enogastronomiche a partire da pub, pizzerie grotti ristoranti, vicino anche a liceo e SSAT nonostante si trovi in zona molto tranquilla. Lo consiglio per chi come me necessita ogni tanto di una stanza di appoggio o per chi vuole visitare Bellinzona e i suoi castelli.

Reviewed By S2353FXrobertwSo this was the most expensive €100 I’ve spent in my life. Anybody wanting to stay in this place I suggest you check the room first or check availability at the local hostel. We stayed here one night, we payed €100 euros, no breakfast, (thankfully) the room was little more than a dormoratory, in the sense the beds were clearly built for a child. They were no more than two feet wide and 6 feet long. The “and I use the term loosely” bathroom was like a space capsule which absolutely stank of something, I’m not going to even bother to try and find out. The noise from the road was unbearable which I know isn’t the hotels fault but I’m painting a picture here. I will never stay at this very over priced “hotel” ever again and would suggest nobody else does either. Two nights before I was staying in an amazing hotel in a Village called Tignale Gardola at Lake Garda, we payed €80 euros which included an excellent breakfast, the room was beautiful with a staggering view, incredible cleanliness and wonder staff. To compare the two the Leon d’or should charge €10 a night including breakfast.
