We had dinner here our first night at Captain Morgan's Retreat. The menu was pretty limited. My wife and daughter chose a Belizean chicken based dish which they enjoyed. My pasta shrimp dish was overcooked, but OK. Their lunch was much better. Service was prompt, friendly.

Pizza was good with nice toppings. The base was a little bit thick for my liking however I did forget to ask if they did thin crust. Other than that though it was good.Thank you for your comment. It was a pleasure to served you. Hope we will have the pleasure to served you again.

Staff were rude. Some local men were always there however I experienced harassment from one of them (as did other women there) and the staff not only ignored what was going on, but wouldnât serve us. One of the worst experiences in a bar/hotel/hostel ever. Worst part was I was staying there and had to go elsewhere just to get some food. Do not recommend.

We ate here multiple times while we were on vacation and it was terrific each time. There were 5 of us and everyone enjoyed what they ordered. The staff was wonderful, especially Minelia, who kept us laughing while my brother-in-law practiced his Spanish. Also, the gluten-free pizza was awesome.Hey there Leslie J, we're so thrilled to learn that you all enjoyed your meals and experience here. Thanks for checking us out often and taking the time to share this incredible review. I have relayed your high praises to Minelia and it made her day... thank you again for your kind words and we hope to see you all again if you're ever back in town!

If there's one "chill out" spot on the northern part of the island you don't want to miss, it's the Truck Stop. There's a cusine for every age, stage and taste available at the various "container kiosks" and it's all pretty tasty. Over our week on the island, we enjoyed tacos, pizza, egg rolls, beer and coconut mojitos during several visits and were never disapointed. Plus, as fellow reviewers testify, there's just this great, relaxed, warm vibe with everything going on from live music to family board games to little ones dipping in the pool. So, park your golf cart out front, put on bug spray, and take a seat sharing a picnic table with others to enjoy the evening. You'll be glad you did.

Genuine italian restaurant with real Italians coking... Simple, cozy family restaurant. check the daily menu on our facebook page. always available Focaccia bread and Lasagna. we bake our bread and focaccia as all the pastry. fresh sauces from scratch eve
I am a frequent trip advisor reviewer but had read nothing about this restaurant before I walked in the door. At first glance I was not impressed. The decor inside was nice but it was very warm inside and it was already humid night. But the restaurant had wifi (a big plus for a solo person) and the feel of this place was distinctly casual which I wanted. I order the lasagna bolognese which comes with homemade focaccia bread and I was stunned. This was the best lasagna I had ever eaten (I have traveled through Italy many times). It was rich and creamy and well seasoned, all the flavors evident. And the bread, well it was magical with the lasagna but the owners also provide you with Chile infused olive oil that makes the bread a dish unto itself. The cost was 36Belize for the dinner and a bottle of water. Very reasonable for clearly homemade dish. I plan on returning for dinner again tonight. Usually top rated trip advisor restaurants look more upscale than this place did. It is truly a classic hole-in-the-wall place with the great food to match.
