Extraordinary 14th century manor house B and B. Sumptuous interiors, oozing history and lots of historical connections.
My brother lives in Flitwick and we live in Eastbourne. When we visit him we often stay over. In the past we have stayed at the ghastly Toddington Services and one time at the nice but expensive Flitwick Manor. I cannot explain why I have missed Harlington Manor in the past because we drive past the turn-off to get to Flitwick! Harlington Manor is a gorgeous 600 year old Tudor Manor but also a family home. What an amazing experience! Greeted personally by the owner David who obviously knows a lot about the history of his house plus others. The manor, its grand rooms and lovely spacious bedrooms are a credit to him and we had a short but very enjoyable stay - terminated by a delicious home-cooked breakfast. This will be our place to stay on future visits. Could not have been better - cannot fault it. Well done David and many thanks for your welcome and your company. Top man.

Traditional British Pub with Fine Dining and 5 Stunning Rooms. All with Free Wifi, shower rooms, tea and coffee machine.
Lovely welcome by staff who insisted on checking that the room was perfect before we got the keys. The room was just that, ‘perfect’. The room is well appointed, beautifully decorated, the bed very comfortable with lots of pillows. There a lovely large dressing table with good lighting, lots of electrical points. There’s a safe for belongings which is a good size. Plenty of storage for clothes, a hanging rail and shelves. The bathroom is gorgeous, beautifully tiled in white with quality toiletries, shower powerful and lots of hot water. I love this place as they’ve paid attention to the things that makes your stay special, like a quality coffee machine as well as a kettle, quality coffee and tea; they even put a fancy glass bottle of milk in the fridge! There’s also an umbrella ? just in case; I’m not sure what else they could’ve thought of? Thank you for a super stay ?

The Green Man is a public house, restaurant and hotel. Built in the 1700s, this old coach house has been transformed over the years and is has recently undergone further modernisation. We are situated in a small hamlet on the B658, about 4 miles from the A1 and approximately 18 miles from M1. Call into to our warm and welcoming space to enjoy traditional ales, delicious food and a comfortable stay.
First and foremost the staff and the incumbent manager. Thank you Mark, Kas and those that I spoke too. I have visited this lovely and well situated country pub for the last year or so… found this place by chance and it was wonderful. I travel, so a room is the priority, however I am happy to go off the beaten track for comfort, a smile and a good coaching house. Tonight, so disappointed at the lack of warmth that I felt. I’m not entirely sure of the details, feels like they have been taken over (looking at the branding ) I know things change, I just hope that all that was unique has not gone. Again, but for all the staff… it would be a 1 * at best. Please prove me wrong

I stayed here whilst competing at Bury Farm equestrian village, and was really impressed by the service. I stayed in the twin room which was basic but clean and had everything I needed. Really well priced for the room, with a warm welcome. I'd definitely stay here again if I was returning to the area.

We enjoyed one night here. Lovely place to stay, very clean, friendly and welcoming. The room was spacious and warm and the bed was very comfortable. In addition, I personally would love to see hash browns on the breakfast menu. We would stay again.

This was my first visit to this hotel, and I'm sure it won't be my last. Although I arrived early, the reception staff were really helpful. I had a breathtaking view from my room and breakfast especially was great with tons of options. Overall, it was a brilliant stay, and I look forward to returning again soon

Public House & Restaurant with ensuite bedrooms
Excellent roast dinner. First time trying The Dukes and we are very impressed. We’ll be back for sure. The head waiter was extremely friendly and informative, he did an amazing job. Very much enjoyed our Sunday roast today. Will easily become our go to each week.

Stratton Cottage Guesthouse is charming white barn conversion with fully ensuite bedrooms, situated on London Road and close to the town centre and Biggleswade train station.
Great little b&b, seems to have had a recent re-fit as everything appeared new and very clean. Nice friendly staff. You need to pre-order breakfast. Beds very comfy. We had a family room and they had a travel cot available, there was a handy trundle bed which we used. Easy free parking outside. Would definitely recommend as it's great for families.
