The Dish Cafe is an eclectic culinary delight bringing unique flavor combinations and fresh ingredients to your table. We're committed to regionally grown fruits and vegetables, grass fed beef, and hormone free pork and poultry. We avoid artificial sweeteners, food dyes and genetically modified ingredients wherever possible. Our concept was created by a group of partners who wanted to offer healthy food choices to a community that's quickly discovering the health benefits of natural and whole ingredients.
The place looks very casual, just like any other regular restaurants but the food is a cut above that type of restaurants. The staff was friendly. The service was slow, although I was warned when I called to reserve that it would be slow because...MoreThanks so much for your kind words. Apologies to your party on the slow service, it is not indicative of our daily goals and desired experience. We look forward to seeing you again and striving for that 5 star review. Thank you!

Pretty good Mexican food if I do say so. Wasn't expecting much here in the WV mountains, but was pleasantly surprised. Prompt service, good food, great prices. Great way to end my ski day.

We come here every time we go skiing at Winterplace Ski Resort. We stay at Glades Springs Resort overnight, and this little place is right around the corner. Family owned. Good pricing. The pizza and salads are fantastic. Definitely worth your time. It doesn't look like much, but you will love the food

This restaurant was recently remodeled and has a very pleasant dining atmosphere. The food is always hot and fresh and served within a reasonable amount of time. Great hot dogs, sandwiches and all of the DQ ice cream treats you can imagine! My girls love the Blizzards and I love the banana splits!

Party of 4 got seated right away on a cold, rainy Friday night. Appetizers of the Eggplant Tower, which was fried eggplant, sliced mozzarella cheese with chopped tomatoes and a balsamic glaze. Eggplant was a little too thinly sliced, should have been a bit thicker. Still good flavor though. Also got the fried beef slices with horseradish sauce. Just ok. Tasted like chicken-fried steak. Entrees of the French cut pork chops and the Braciole with a lobster tail on the side. Mixed veggies, stuffed potato and a house salad. All entrees very good with large portions. We also ordered the pumpkin bread pudding to share. Warm and delicious.
Our server Brian did a great job.

Good food and service at Bunkers. If you like watching sports, it has several big screens and if your not your bag they have small screens in some of the booths that allow you to watch a multitude of other stuff. Food is reasonably priced and the staff are polite and professional can, recommend this bar to anyone.

We decided to split the steak and cheese sub and it was awesome. I've never had one made quite like it. The side with the cheese on it looked like the cheese had been grilled and not just melted on the sub. Our server was very attentive and nice. By the time we left the place was packed.

Food and service was competent (the hostess was strangely lackadaisical) but nothing really stood out. The meat sauce seemed to have little to know meat in it, the mushrooms were canned, but the meatball was really good. Portion sizes were gigantic, I'd have preferred a lower price point with smaller servings. The garlic bread was passable and my wife thought the veal piccata was decent. Not bad by any means, just nothing memorable. The tiramisu was the best part. The manager, who came by to ask how things were, was very friendly.

Great food at great prices (esp. considering the upcharge that most hotels charge). Great management, personal attention, and fast service if you let them know that you have somewhere you need to be (like for us, the escape room). The wine selection is great, so much so, that I ordered an extra bottle for later (price was great). Beautiful view, too, of outside.

Maybe because I'm from New Jersey and am spoiled by the "real" taste of Italian food fare. But this "Italian" restaurant is pretty bad in my opinion. Chicken parm meal was gummy so obviously was microwaved. Gravy was way too sweet. Rolls.....well they were pretty bad and obviously store bought.
To survive on, yes it's sustainable. But to truly enjoy a real Italian meal gotta go elsewhere.
