Beaver Dam is a home rule-class city in Ohio County, Kentucky, in the United States. The population was 3,515 at the 2010 census. It is named for the Beaver Dam Baptist Church which predates the town by 65 years. The city was formally incorporated by the state assembly in 1873.

We were ready for lunch and exited off Western Kentucky Parkway. We drove on into town to see our choices. The parking lot was almost full at 2:00pm. Since that is generally a good sign for good food, we stopped. The service was good, and the food was great. They offed a lunch special(even) on Saturday for $7.99 including entree from list and two sides. They have a salad bar. I had their catfish dinner, potato salad and fried okra. There were several menu choices that I would like to try. It was very good. We will not hesitate to stop here again.

Thrilled to see that Rosine was listed in THE NEW YORK TIMES' 52 Places to Go in 2016. Two places you should not miss if you're planning a trip to Rosine:
Kentucky Wildflour Cakes (105 N Main St Beaver Dam, KY)
My sister was a huge fan of the Food Network's Holiday Baking Challenge, so we went to the bakery owned by one of the finalists, Haley Miller, from Ohio County. Charming and lovely -- the bakery AND Haley. The best cupcakes I've had in many years, hands down, as good as anything I had at Magnolia Bakery in NYC years ago. Simple, elegant, homey and old fashioned but also modern in the delicacy of the flavors, real ingredients, loved the way the strawberry flavor came through in particular. Haley was a real charmer.
Marti & LIz shoes (106 N Main St, right across the street)
Phenomenal bargains on name brand shoes-- Cole Haan, Clarks, Ralph Lauren, Bostonian, Steve Madden, etc. (I don't know much about women's brands, these are just brands I've bought for myself). It's mostly women's shoes (80% maybe) but there's still a considerably larger selection of men's shoes than most places in the area.

Friday night catfish (fiddlers and fillets) along with shrimp, meat loaf and other favorites. Saturday night BBQ chicken, ribs and pork. Have yet to try Sunday fried chicken and fixings, but have heard that it's great! Friendly service in a welcoming, clean place.

Who knew Beaver Dam would have such a nice Dairy Queen?? This place must've recently been remodeled and updated because it looks like no Dairy Queen I've ever been in. We stopped in after one of my nephew's baseball games.
They had signage outside that said "Dairy Queen Parking ONLY" & a constable that was standing around outside. I was confused at first but then pieced it together that the high school next door was having its graduation. As we left the place started to fill up.
As I mentioned before, this place is nice! They've got large televisions for menus, a coke fusion machine, a huge freezer with DQ cakes & even the wall outlets have USB places to plug devices. I ordered one of the chicken wraps, the Buffalo version & a Jurassic Smash blizzard. I really enjoyed the wrap. I'd ever had one before & for 2 bucks it was good. I liked the buffalo sauce & cheese on it. The blizzard was yummy as well. It had peanut butter cookie pieces & cookie dough in it. From the coke Fusion machine I got minute maid lemonade with raspberry, so refreshing.
Why 3 stars? Well the building looks great, my food was good, but my sisters waffle cone was so rubbery & tasted as it was really old. The staff there wasn't too friendly & a lot of them seemed liked they'd rather be someplace else.

While on a long cross-country road trip, my boyfriend and I discovered this restaurant on Trip Advisor. We went about 7 miles out of our way and didn't mind the slight detour. I travel all over the country for work. Although this restaurant does not compare with some of the best Mexican restaurants in Texas or places in the West with large Mexican populations, it was a nice find in a small town in a state noted for barbecue, bourbon balls and burgoo! Their chicken fajitas were quite tasty and my date finished every morsel of his burrito. I take a few points off for there salsa, which is a bit weak and a little too sugared for both our tastes, but neither of us left hungry. The staff was pleasant and oozed the charm of genuine, friendly southern hospitality. An enjoyable respite from a long day of driving!

My daughter orders from here often. The service is good and the food is excellent. I have no problem recommending it.

I first came here when I learned they have sea scallops on the menu. I am originally from New England, love scallops and haven't seen them served anywhere else in KY.
My first impression when entering was the cleanliness. It is superior to other area restaurants. Service was great and the food excellent. The scallops were great and the cole slaw excellent, far better than any I have had elsewhere.
I will have to return soon for breakfast. The prices are very reasonable and the portions generous

Even during the busy noontime rush, the Beaver Dam Subway servers are always smiling, friendly and professional: "extras" you don't find on the menu board, but worth their weight in gold!

Always clean and consistent. Very similar to Owensboro and bowling greens quality . Food is warm and fresh and to go is available.

Close to West Ky Parkway north toward Beaver Dam. Easy to get to from the Parkway. Typical Wendys however on the date of visit I found the restaurant clean and service quick. Clean rest rooms and parking lot.
