Lucky to get a last minute booking. Not great table position but tentative staff made up for this. Real festive feel with fairlights & mini Chrissy trees on table. Food was excellent. Also festive theme. Roast duck n cherries not dry & generous portion. Finally a decent Xmas pudd with ALL the trimmings. We will be back with friends & pre book better table Left just in time to enjoy Melb Fireworx along Beach Rd. Happy New Year Vincent’s.

Entree. Chilli squid - Charcoal prawns. Both excellent.
Mains. Lobster mornay excellent. - Surf and turf. All excellent except steak. A nice piece of steak served almost raw. Menu says "medium" still blue in the middle. Rare at the most.
Desert. Fig with icecream- excellent.
Wine list is limited. Suggest bring your own, if you want a particular wine.
Overall a very good place to dine.

Normally do not go to any restaurant without a booking, however having returned from 6 weeks in Europe needed a Japanese fix. Arrived another couple, seated without delay and the friendly staff gave us a period to consult the menu.
Ordered 3 entrees, then asked for time to select main courses. The main course, steak was was absolutely perfect.
An enjoyable evening, as usual.

Award-winning beachfront restaurant upstairs serving locally sourced modern Australian seafood cuisine with Asian influence an unique wine list, warm Bayside welcome, and stunning 180 degree views over Half Moon Bay. Alternatively visit our take away kiosk downstairs and enjoy traditional fish & chips right on the beach.
A good place to get food, drinks(no alcohol onthe beach) and snacks. There's a downstairs kiosk which serves the beach front crowd and also an upstairs sit down much posher restaurant(serves alcohol).
We had our grub from the kiosk - lovely grilled salmon, smashing crispy barramundi fish & chips, and a lovely fresh Greek salad. We also ordered a serve of calamari which wasn't as good as our other meals - pity; we found the batter around the calamari greasy and undercooked.
But hats off to Cerberus - overall we had a very good lunch, and at fair prices.

Argentinean Restaurant & Bar. The tapas style menu is ideal to share, with everything from Seafood to Suckling Pig, there is something on the menu for everyone. Cocktails, wine and the True South craft beers and ciders can be enjoyed at the bar or in the large outdoor dining section, which has a front row seat to the stunning sunsets over Port Philip Bay. True South offers private dinning, cocktail parties, weddings and more; if you have an occasion to celebrate please get in touch.
We enjoyed our visit here a year ago so thought we should visit the Restaurant again, we were not disappointed the Service was excellent and the Sharing Dishes very good. Try the Spinach Starter, wonderful. We went for the Baramundy Fish and Steak that I had on Lentils quite superb and finished with a Coconut Cake and Coconut Parfait. The choice of wines excellent, the Pinot Noir excellent.

All day eatery, cafe + bar in buzzing Mentone.
Four of us had an excellent lunch here today. Iona and Tim clearly know their menu and both offered helpful advice. We thoroughly enjoyed fish & chips, fritters, cauliflower salad and chat potatoes. Everything was tasty and nicely presented. Portion sizes were good for the price. Everyone wanted different coffees - no problem at the Corner Store.
It’s light, bright and airy. Lots of tables and some booths. Children are easily accommodated and not located adjacent to tables of adults only. Iona was particularly delightful.
We will be back and expect this to become a new favourite. I need to try the Pork Crackling Benedict!

My husband ordered pulled pork eggs benedict, with apple cider hollandaise sauce. The pulled pork was like roast pork that was days old, no real flavour, the hollandaise sauce was out of a bottle, the apple was strips of apple piled on top. The eggs were supposed to be free range, and they looked it, but no flavour. I ordered Poached eggs and Crispy bacon free range, $5 extra. This consisted of 3 half rashes of bacon, not crispy. The eggs were again lacking flavour, i kept adding salt and pepper to them, i ordered a hot chocolate extra hot, it was luke warm. Overall very disappointing meal, and will not be returning. I have been to this cafe many times in the past.

This has become our new 'go to' restaurant. It's warm and inviting. Staff are welcoming and the food never disappoints. You can share almost everything on the menu, so great for anyone like me who wants everything on the menu. There's always a small specials board with interesting options and the wine list has some lovely options by the glass.

The Parlor is tucked away amongst the golf courses along Weatherall Road. It's a nicely renovated building that is bright and airy inside. In winter there's an open fire.
It has a huge all-day breakfast menu, basic lunch items from 12 and I think there were some dinner items. The meals are mid-sized and delicious. Plenty of drinks on offer. A note on the menu ask diners not to customise meals when they're busy.
Service is very good.
In good weather there's a small deck out the front.
We enjoyed our quick lunch for four.
