We walked around this little town and saw that Aqua was having a wine pairing to compliment their dinner menu. That was enough for us. SO GOOD! Everything is fresh and local and plates are designed to share.

We enjoyed a great brew of coffee one afternoon, no creamer needed. The next night sat out back on this precious back porch with a glass of wine and mixed drink while we waited for our Ghost Walk to begin. Later that evening, this place was "Happenin'" at the bar from the street view but we had our children with us so did not join. I will go back and try the food on our next trip to Beaufort. Wonderful location.

Homemade ice cream and fudge.
This was a general store which had a deli in the back. Unfortunately, its corporate ownership closed it down. a year or two ago. The sandwiches were great, and it had a great ambience. It was a very convenient stop for locals in the area who did not want to drive down through the other side of Beaufort for something that could be picked up from this location quickly.

I had an egg and cheese croisant. Delicious as usual. Drive thru service was fast. Recommended for a quick breakfast.

City Kitchen is a Waterfront Restaurant with approachable American Cuisine that is kicked up a notch. Just like our great country, the chef draws from our diverse ethnic mix, with Southern, Asian, Hispanic and other influences. City Kitchen's cuisine is imaginative yet familiar. We are an unpretentious restaurant, with an inviting decor and awesome food! (Our desserts are pretty darn tasty too!) Dinner Wed- Sat 5:30pm-until We also have a Waterfront-open air bar that is open in Season on Fri and Sat evenings. Call for hours as this is weather dependent.
Seven of us dined at City Kitchen recently and everyone left happy. Although a little tricky to get to because of highway construction, once there you'll find a wonderful marina view, friendly and competent service amd a kitchen that aims to please. We all had drinks, appetizers and mains and were uniformly pleased.

This lovely restaurant is on a side street less than a block form the water. White tablecloths, friendly wonderful waitress and fresh...really fresh and local seafood. Also a nice selection of wines. We had local flounder and oysters and tuna from the Outer Banks. Memorable, romantic dinner. We also noticed lots of locals that came in. The staff greeted them by name and gave them hugs. I am sure during the summer this place is packed.

My wife stopped in for lunch on a drizzly, cold day. The atmosphere is casual and relaxed. I ordered the Ruben and my wife got the crabcake sandwich. The service was a little slow, but it was worth the wait. My Ruben was made with FRESH corned beef, cole slaw instead of sauerkraut and remoulade sauce in place of mustard. Wow! It was awesome and so large I could only eat half...don't worry, I took the other half with me for later! My wife's crabcake sandwich also had the remoulade on a fresh croissant and it too was excellent. Highly recommended!

Excellent food & service! Jerk chicken wings & tuna tacos were incredibly delicious! Also, for a drink, do try the Painkiller! Beautiful waterfront views, if outside on deck. Dock parking if you arrive by boat. Maritime Museum is just across the street. Very convenient to walk waterfront, however, vehicle parking can be difficult at times.

Fun Meal outside on the deck along side the water. The staff is friendly and there is a good menu and good bar as well. It is a very fun atmosphere. Our only suggestion is to have better tables and chairs outside. We understand they are outside, but plastic can be very uncomfortable. That said, we could have sat inside, and we would sit outside again.

The four of us enjoyed all aspects of our evening/dinner at this restaurant. The waitress was pleasant and attentive. The atmosphere is charming and inviting. The food, from appetizer to entree, was cooked to perfection. I find the previous negative comment hard to believe. I highly recommend The Cedars Inn Restaurant.
