We stayed in Beatty for three nights, and my husband demanded we go out here every night, he loved it. It's a very laid-back hole-in-the-wall style bar that serves a good chili. We sat outside next to a family with a small child who felt the chili was a little too spicy for his tiny taste. Luckily, they also have cheeseburgers, which he seemed to think was delicious. There's smoking inside the bar, which we're not used to seeing, but theres far more seating outside, with tvs and heat lamps for the night, so its easy to avoid if you'd like.

Espresso cafe with food items like real fruit smoothies, muffins, bagels including with Lox & Cream Cheese, made to order waffles, and fresh fruit dishes.
What a great surprise to have excellent coffee in the middle of the scenic beautiful Nevada. Fresh beans that where freshly ground brewed by a friendly barista and accompanied with a fresh toasted bagel. Great place to stop and have real good coffee.

I wouldn't give this restaurant a chance if I wasn't told by my friend that they serve the best breakfast in the area. Its small blue building doesn't really look tempting from outside. But when I entered and saw the cosy interior I changed my mind immediately. I loved the small tables with blue checked tablecloth. And I have to confirm that the breakfast they served is excellent. First time I had pancakes, next day omelette. In both cases very tasty and portion so big that I wasn't able to finish. I think it was the best breakfast I ever had on my travels.

KC's Outpost was established in 2008, and is family owned and operated. We strive to serve the freshest food available, in a clean and friendly environment. We serve our sandwiches on fresh baked french bread, our pizzas are handmade on fresh dough, and our soups, sides and desserts are made in house. We have daily specials for lunch and dinner.
We headed to the Outpost with pizza on our minds at 8 pm on a recent Saturday night. Nope, they were OUT of pizza - AND it was a 40 minute wait for sandwiches and salad. Eat in the bar instead? NOPE. It was way too smoky to walk through, let alone eat in.
Beatty has more closed restaurants than open ones. KC's Outpost may be doing it's best to meet demand, but it was a disappointment for us.

Small cafe located on a main thoroughfare in the town of Beatty. Very friendly and efficient waitress. Most tables were filled and she handled everyone with charm. Husband ordered the super skillet and really enjoyed it.....filled with bacon, ham and assorted veggies. I opted for the ham steak (perfectly grilled), eggs over easy and wheat toast. Delicious! Both meals came with fruit, sliced apples. Coffee refills were plentiful. Clean and cozy cafe.

Previously, one of my favorite "mussel" memories was of a trip to Brussels ...but NOW, I can add the Beatty VFW to the list! Seriously, who would expect great mussels in a town proximate to Death Valley?! We loved the food, atmosphere and hospitality so much that we ate here 2 evenings while visiting Beatty.
Just remember to sign in (book to the left of the door) and you can use the bartender's name as the sponsor.
NOTE: If you are sensitive to cigarette smoke, you may want to pass on this experience. But if you can just "roll" with a very cool - local hangout....and enjoy some great food in the process, then you're gonna have a great time!

Denny's Restaurant im Stagecoach Hotel & Casino, Beatty, NV, USA
We ate here for dinner on Christmas Eve night and breakfast on Christmas morning. Both were very good. For dinner I had the special Turkey dinner that was excellent and my wife had soup and sandwich, also very good. As in most Denny's, there is no alcohol, BUT they do allow you to order drinks from the casino bar. In fact the waiter will go tell the bartender to come take your order. So – it is the only Denny's I know of with access to a full bar. Highly recommended.

We stopped off to grab some food before hiking in Death Valley. Great fast service and tasty food. The candy store that’s also in the building is also fantastic.

we are a new mobile food unit that opened August 1st 2015. At the moment we are serving 100% certified angus beef hand pressed burgers that are never frozen, and cooked to order. as well as our all beef franks. we use products local to the region of Nevada, and always served with a smile. we also serve freshly made crepes with nutella and banana, as well as a mixed berry. so please stop on by and give us a try.
The ribs are not bad albeit a bit pricey, nice selection of beers. The other food is okay but not to write home about.
