Hotel have a huge parking lot, so find place for parking is not a problem. Check in took time hotel need local police permission to accommodate foreigner. Receptionist does not speak English but was very friendly. Room was big, a but dirty but overall very good. Room has 2 bottles of free drink water and special bonus, heated toilet seat. Breakfast as was typical Chinese with lot of different choices. Overall, I like that hotel and going to stay there also during my next visit in Bayannur.

Hotel is an about 30 min drive from the airport (RLK) Rooms are quite large. Bathroom has a bathtub and a separate shower. In mine on the 29th floor, some tiles were missing in the shower. Hence the feeling like stepping on Lego. Beds are hard, but still comfortable. Pillows were quite thin. 2 are too high and one alone not enough. My neck is still complaining... Electric outlets are next to the desk, but for the night desk you need a 2 meter extension cord. Internet is Wifi and LAN based. In my room I only got a LAN connection. Speed was sometimes very fast and at other times really slow. FaceTime and Skype worked, the VPN was relatively stable. Breakfast was only Chinese style. Fine 99.9% of the guests are Chinese, but usually in these situations you find at least some toast, butter and orange juice. Non of these 3 things were available. The heating was terrible. In my room only full power, hence I had +27°C in the room. Only solution was to turn off the heating. Outside was -25°C, but turning off the heating worked. Laundry is also a bit strange: I ticked "shirt folded" and it came back hanging. Then they revoked my key card on the second day, as I was about 10 RMB over my deposit. So I had to wait another 10 min for the elevator to come to the 29th floor, then go down, pay 10 RMB and then get a new key. Then 5 min waiting for the elevator again to go back up. So the hardware maybe 4 star, if it is not broken, but the software is below 2 star, hence the rating. However it has to be said that the hotel is quite cheap compared to other hotels with similar design.

总体感觉很好,非常舒适,卫生十分干净,性价比值,服务员很热情,服务挺别周到。位置很好出门就能打上车。紧靠小区和学校坏境十分安静,要比喧闹的市中心更加适合休闲住宿。

A time I watched the sky was when my friend and I were having a picnic on one of our school trips last summer. We were both laying on the grass talking and watching the clouds during lunchtime. Our school had taken us on a field-trip to the zoo and it was the first time visiting a place full of tropical animals and I loved it. Me and my friend laid on the grass talking about our lives and what we wanted to do when we were older until I spotted that one of the clouds looked like a Chinese dragon. My friend laughed and joined in the fun. He spotted a dog, cat and a frog whilst I spotted a gorilla, fish and a goat. The clouds were so bright and fluffy that day; highlighted against the crisp blue of the sky. In the background, we could both hear our teacher telling one of our classmates off for wandering about by himself. It did not stop our fun watching the sky though. It was hilarious trying to get my friend to see the image I was seeing in the cloud, it took a long time but we finally understood each other. I remember laughing so hard when he finally saw a pelican with a Mohican. I remember feeling very happy that day, watching the sky and imagining a life in the clouds. I tried taking some photos with my phone but it never quite captured what I saw through the naked eye; when I got home though, I told my mum about my school trip and how me and my friend had such a great time during lunch.
