Located in the quaint village of Granville Ferry and overlooking the historic town of Annapolis Royal, this beautiful 1881 registered heritage property was home to Sea Captain, Ship Builder, and Merchant, Captain Joseph Hall. All rooms overlook the Annapolis River,Fort Anne and the town of Annapolis Royal.
A beautiful Victorian home, furnished in antiques, with a lovely guest sitting room. There is a waterfront patio area, ideal for waiting around if you arrive early. Anne-Marie provides an overwhelming welcome (rather more so than Europeans like us are used to) and breakfast at a shared, perfectly laid silver service style table, is superb. The bedrooms are period in style, with beautiful decoration although the bed was smaller than ideal for us.

Very nice facility within easy walking distance from Acadia. The room was well supplied with amenities. Excellent location for dining in Wolfville. The absence of a traditional front desk wasn't at all a problem.

Always a great stay, the place and amenities are great but the best part is the staff. They are courteous, friendly, and always helpful. When registering, they were prompt and efficient, told us all information that we may need to know and how to reach them if we required anything.Top-Notch!!

Close to Ski Martock and the eastern gate of Annapolis Valley, our non-smoking hotel offers great amenities at affordable rates.
Dirty.. creeky stained floors. Chicken bones spread all through the hallway for the 20 hours we Were there they were never picked up or disposed of. Definitely some sketchy drug use/prostitution going on in there. Side door opened all night with a rock definitely didn’t feel comfortable or safe being there. Not worth 150$ a night and won’t be back. PS absolutely no room to swim in the pool and dangerous for little ones as the pool is literally only big enough to come down the slide.. also hit the bottom every time we did use the slide. 1 star is very accurate

Room was very basic and clean however, lacking in many respects. Entry to hotel not wheelchair accessible. Room small with limited room for mobility at end of bed. Mattresses not sealed with standard bedbug protection cover. Plug did not work in bathtub. Fixtures and room decor dated. Will not stay here again.

The Annapolis Royal Inn is a "Boutique Motel" offering 30 air conditioned rooms, all with triple sheet bedding. We are situated on over 15 acres of landscaped grounds fronting 400 year old Acadian dyke lands. We are 1.4 km from both the National Historic Fort Anne and the Historic Gardens both of which are in the Beautiful Town of Annapolis Royal a mere 2 minutes drive or 20 minutes walking according to Google Map. But if you choose to walk keep in mind this is along a country road without sidewalks and due care has to be taken. From 7 to 11 am we offer a self serve breakfast that includes depending the time of year a wide selection of items including fresh waffles and hot local made sausages. Our heated in ground salt water pool is open from late June to Mid September.
Room was dusty and pillows and bed should have been changed 20 years ago. Pillows and bed had dust right into them and the pillows were scrunched into a half size as they are so worn out. Threw out the baggie they gave us for breakfast as not even worth trying to eat a small piece of chees a boiled egg age unknown and a juice and breakfast bar. We will never stay there again as it is so poorly maintained and the breakfast not fit to fed a dog.
