If you’re looking for a budget-friendly island vacation, consider the Bay Islands. Each one appeals to different travelers—Roatan’s the most developed (but still not as built-up as, say, St. Thomas), Guanaia’s rustic and Utila’s in between. All three have great dive spots and beaches.

Location: West Bay Beach, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras, Central America (15 minutes from airport). Accommodations: Condo, 2 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 2 Baths (Sleeps 4-6)Keywords: Luxurious Condo Resort 2BR/2BA at Infinity Bay Roatan. Planning a vacation now to leave in the fall? Location Location Location. The most beautiful upscale resort which is called Infinity Bay Resort located at West Bay Beach, which is one of the top beaches in Roatan, Honduras and of the Caribbean. The reef is only yards away, which is the second largest coral reef in the world. Swim with the turtles and an abundance of marine life, go diving and discover more, or use our complimentary kayaks and Breakfast Included. Local activities, include scuba diving, sailing, fishing, canopy tours, horseback riding, and much more.
Infinity Bay Spa & Beach Resort We ended up here as a result of our delayed travel plans. On the day of our departure, all flights to and from Roatan were cancelled; their airport fire department’s truck(s) weren’t working so it was too great a risk to have aircraft come and go. So we got “stuck” in paradise for 1 extra day… which delayed my return to Alaska 4 days. In the end, I paid an additional $1300 for the earliest ticket, days later. I digress. This is a beautiful, well-maintained, upscale, beachfront condo/resort in iconic West Bay Beach of Roatan, Honduras. It offers a free shuttle to and from the airport but they ask you coordinate it at least 48 hours in advance; however, that doesn’t mean they won’t still accommodate you with shorter notice… it just isn’t guaranteed. As you walk in, you’re greeted by air conditioning - a welcome reprieve from the heat and humidity. To your left is a gift shop/boutique with a wide range of souvenirs, t-shirts, swimsuits (in case you forgot yours), cover ups, hats, insect repellent, etc. As you continue past the front desk, on your left is now the Tiki Cup which has snacks and drinks for sale. Exiting the welcome area you’ll encounter the garden courtyard with a huge, colorful, ROATAN sign for your picture pleasure. The pool isn’t far and as you walk along the path passing the dive shop and pool you’ll encounter La Palapa, an outdoor bar and restaurant with fans. If you’re lucky, you might be able to get seated with front row seats (practically) to the most beautiful (and bustling) beach. If not, you’ll have umbrellas and seated tables in the way. The yucca and plantains are on point! I was pretty excited when I saw the sea bass on the menu but was less than impressed when it arrived over cooked. ✨ THE HIGHLIGHT | I’ve traveled the world and NEVER seen water as clear as what I experienced on that bright sunny day on the beach. Absolutely immaculate. I can’t stress it enough. No seaweed on the beach, crystal clear water and a super comfortable temperature. Not too warm, not too cool. ✨ The beach does have vendors walking about selling shirts and other local odds and ends. They weren’t overbearing or hovering. If they ask, and you’re not interested, simply say, “No thanks.” And they’ll be on their way. It’s also pretty busy and loud. People are on vacation and REALLY enjoying themselves! So if you’re searching for a little seclusion and peace and quiet, this is probably not the place to stay but a great place to visit. Beaches are public property so you can still visit if you’re not booked at the property. The wifi is great and the 2 BR condo with 2 balconies we booked in the 900 building was fantastic. It was probably the furthest room from the beach but had more privacy than just about any other room, lovely views of the garden and forested area outside, a/c, and plenty of space. The bottle of wine and plate of fruit was a nice touch. There’s a spa on site but I didn’t have an opportunity to use it. They also have security but it seems like an incredibly safe place; however, just like ANYWHERE else you go, don’t leave your electronics or high value items unattended on a beach chair bc it may just go missing. If you’re looking to be located in the hustle and bustle of West Bay with easy access to one of the most beautiful beaches on the island, this is the place for you. You’re also close enough to walk to the Semi Sub Glass Bottom Boat for some very epic scenes of the reef.

From Large Families, to intimate celebrations, The Hacienda Caribe Tesoro is a stunning family oriented Hotel Resort and Mansion, on Roatan's West Bay Beach. A salt-water pool, a covered dock for dining, a palatial courtyard... And it's away from the crowds, offering things not found anywhere else. The Mansion's 6 luxury suites are each unique. Custom tile-work reflects the blues and golds of the Sea just outside your window. The beamed and vaulted ceilings, artisanal furnishings and crystal blue ocean views or lush greens of the courtyard take you back to another century. In addition to the suites in the mansion, you'll find TWO oceanfront/poolside, 3 bedroom/3 bathroom villas and an oceanfront/poolside executive suite available and three Executive Studio Suites in the Courtyard that sleep four plus the Delfin Tower Villa that is three bedrooms with four Queen Beds and two futon beds which sleeps up to 12.

After reading all the 5 star reviews, I was nervous staying here, as my expectations were ridiculously high. Well let me tell you, not one lie was told. Puerta Azul is an amazing space with beautiful bungalows on a even more beautiful beach. Admittedly, if you are looking for a more lively vacation, this location is not for you but perfect for a nice relaxing, book reading vacation. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast was simple and delicious. The staff are amazing, special kudos to Rose and Wilma. Augusta was extremely patient and answered all of our questions and was so kind to call around to different places to get us the right information. My friend and I also had the pleasure of meeting Talia, who was super sweet and also very helpful with questions. Overall, it was a great stay and I would definitely stay here again. Puerta Azul is about 3 miles (10 min taxi) to West Bay, which is where all the bars and restaurants are. This is perfect is you want a quiet sleep but still want close access to nightlife. Tips You cannot flush any paper down the toilet, just want to prepare you in advance for that adventure The beach is not swimmable by the shore because there is a lot of moss and seaweed but i have heard its a snorkeling paradise further out Bring bug spray!

The newest and most luxurious resort in Roatán, Honduras, Grand Roatán Caribbean Resort offers visitors a relaxed, luxury boutique experience on one of the most magnificent beaches in the entire Caribbean.
Marcus was the best. He kept the drinks coming to the beach all day- he even delivered to the water. The hotel was under construction but it was nice that it was not extremely overcrowded. Down the beach was much more congested but many more food option. The food at the hotel restaurant was ok, limited selection that got tiring after a few days. The free breakfast was great always- options varied daily. Water was beautiful, reef was some of the best I have ever seen.

I have stayed twice in the hotel, and all of our family has loved it. The view is spectacular, the service is just great from the moment they receive you in the airport; I feel like home there. We tried different meals in the restaurant, and all of them were great. Love the fresh, tropical colors they use around the place. It's THE-MOST peaceful place I've visited. I would totally recommend it a thousand percent. ??
