Palapa Papa's is located towards the end of West End and we are located right over the water. We serve Lunch and dinner in our restaurant or on the beach. We enjoy our water sports or sit back and relax and watch our beautiful sunsets. Wednesday, Friday a
My husband and I stopped here a couple of times during our most recent visit to Roatan as they not only have one of the most beautiful locations to enjoy the sunset but they have the most phenomenal coconut shrimp I have ever tasted! Alex was absolutely phenomenal as he took care of us both times during our visit and the prices are reasonable for the amount of food that you receive.

This restaurant is truly a hidden, secluded gem right on the beach. We have enjoyed sunset dinners there each of the last two years and the evening could not have been more perfect. From the setting to the food to the freshly made, complimentary desserts, this place was perfect. Well at the end of the main drag, the Lobster Pot is somewhat difficult to find but well worth the adventure. The best tables are literally on the beach with your feet in sand as you sit slightly back from the water surrounded by palm trees. If you go at sunset, the secluded setting makes it seem like something out of a movie or a brochure for newlyweds - it truly is amazing. Both times we were there, we were alone at sunset. The food matches the environment. The fish is fresh and the vegetables are well cooked. The figurative icing on the cake is the complimentary homemade dessert - Key Lime pie for us.Well worth the trip and truly a hidden gem in West End.

WELCOME, WELCOME, WELCOME!!! We welcome you to discover the place of total relaxation, while enjoying the unique flavor and culture of Madah's Kitchen, in this beautiful Caribbean Bay Islands! We serve traditional Island food, supported by family recipes
We were on a hellish cruise that barely got into port, waited four hours to be transported to land and found this little gem. African influenced cooking with nice spices, the problem is you have to constantly fend off the flies that find their cooking delicious as well. Management is a bit in disarray, just the way Latin America reminded me, time to go with the flow and chill.Sir/Madam Thanks so much for your, and will also like to imform you that living in the Caribean there is so much to learn, such as the flies that increase due to the fruit season and as a people with a strong culture are always working to bring comfort and peace to our clients. THANKS SO MUCH TO FOR CHOOSING MADAHS KITCHEN COME AGAIN.

Located on the beautiful island of Roatan, The Beach Club offers the best beach experience in West Bay. Bring your family, friends or that special someone to enjoy wonderful days of sun, luxury, fine food and superb service.
We visited the Beach Club last weekend, most times we have been there it has been an enjoyable experience. However, last weekend I had the worse treatment at this establishment. We waited approximately 45mins to get our receipt in order to pay and leave. When we finally got the receipt, the bartender did not even have a pen to sign the credit card voucher! So we had to wait for her to find her pen, another person paying cash was given the wrong change so we had to wait even more to get his correct change. I asked to speak to a supervisor since this delayed had put us at a very uncomfortable time to get a water taxi or cab back to west end. I was hoping the would help us sort a transport back to west end. I was approached by a supervisor called Douglas, he was incredibly rude and condescending, he did not even apologized for our delayed and proceeded to tell me it was not his problem and he could not help us pay the cab or even sort a can for us. He even said we only waited 30mins instead of 45 as if that makes the situation better. This is a wonderful place in west bay but their customer service is awful and will never go back again. Mr Douglas should probably get trained on how to deal with customers too!

We visited Berties as part of a day tour on a cruise stop, requesting it in advance based on reviews. It was good enough, but not the fantastic fare we were expecting. My husband and I both ordered grouper, cooked in different ways. They use margarine not butter, so he asked for coconut milk sauce instead. Sides were fried plantain chips and rice and beans. I found the deep fried fish rather plain, as were the rice and beans, no special seasoning or sauce. Portion size is good. Price we found rather expensive for Roatan, probably because we were cruise passengers and not locals. Our tour guide ordered food that wasn't on any menu. The staff were friendly and the view of the water was great. The furniture consisted of plastic patio chairs and tables on the sand outside, so wear casual clothes. Restrooms are "rustic". It is located just outside the entrance to the port, which in hindsight is probably why we had just an average meal. It seems that others have had great meals here, but can't say that ours was.

We stopped and had breakfast here before a late morning dive. The coffee was excellent. My omelet was mediocre. The eggs had been cooked too long and browned. Overall it wasn't a bad place for breakfast and the coffee made up for it.

My wife and I were surprised and exceedingly pleased to discover this little gem of a restaurant situated within the boutique Tranquilseas dive resort located in Sandy Bay. Tranquilseas resort itself is a beautiful property which is comprised of several room levels cascading gently down to the beach from the road, with funky island architecture built around lush tropical landscaping. The setting from the third level offers perfect views overlooking Sandy Bay's beautiful beach and water. The menu is varied with many native dishes available, and the food and drinks were allextremely tasty and reasonably priced. In fact, the best endorsement we can make is that we initially visited for lunch one day, only to return three more times during our one week stay in Roatan, including a special Friday night dinner where we were joined by Roatan natives who also came to enjoy the restaurant's ambience!Highly recommended, you will not be disappointed!!
